After a hostile confrontation upon the grounds of the Academy, the Dragonlord Violet Vartuul challenged the Vanirhallan Priestess Ragnhild Gunnr in combat.

Only due to the request of the Headmaster, Etheric Athelier, was the fight taken off Academy grounds. Eyewitness reports confirm the Dragonlord came out as the victor, absconding with the Vanirhallan in broad daylight to Garljing’s Coat.

Her fate should have been obvious to any who knew of the Fireblooded’s feelings on those who worshipped the Triumvirate. A more public declaration was put forth soon after:

“For those who care for the life of your worthless priestess, I welcome you all to the Coat. I will meet you in honorable one on one combat for Ragnhild’s life. It matters not to me how many come, or how little come. This is an open invitation to any and all to try and challenge me  If you’re successful? You rescue her.

If you fail? I will sacrifice her to Garljing himself, as a testament to rid Esshar of these heretics.”

The sacrifice of Ragnhild Gunnr will be held on Sunday, March 14th at 7pm.

Challenges will be accepted no matter what until that time.
