Following the Iron Council's latest meeting, Captain Julius pyr Aertas was made General of Achyon's campaign against Osrona by majority vote. With the reigns shifted, so too did all of the Empire's current roadblocks. A test of the General's competence was soon to come. How would he handle these situations in contrast to the Hand's past leaders? How would Julius lead the war?

Thus, did an opportunity present itself. The General was forced to come up with an answer for the dilemma of Sergeant Bianca Ignacio. How would he ensure that she came home safely? Or, would he even bother to begin with? This one was a real head-scratcher. Who knew that having this position could be so hard?!

Titus pyr Aertas says, "You have the keys to the strongest army on Esshar. Can't be that hard."

So, General Julius pyr Aertas quickly started planning his first military raid.

The General's Bargain

"There is no bargain, we're just going to fuck them up and take her back."

In the coming months, Achyon's Hand will carry out a surprise attack against Osrona. In a display of military might rather than the negotiations of past Generals, Julius hopes to set a tone for his campaign. As his first act, he plans to strike to the heart of the enemy nation in an attempt to steal Bianca Ignacio back from captivity. He hopes to make it known that the time for talks and trades is over, that he wants bloodshed.

No notice, no mercy, and certainly no backing down. Because, what's the point of treating the enemy like your friend?

Details: Saturday, 5 PM EST (tomorrow!) Achyon vs. Osrona, objective is rescuing Bianca Ignacio.

[ OSRONAN VICTORY ]

On a quite afternoon, Osrona is stormed by a platoon of Achyon contingents. Lead by the fierce General Julius pyr Aertas, they make their intentions clear: to retrieve back the robbed Sergeant Bianca Ignacio. Knights are rounded quick to meet the opposition head on. Just before their charge follows, in a stunning display, the Stellus frees the prisoner that they had came for. Regardless of this, the warmongering forces persist with their attack in order to make a display of raw military might. A fierce battle ensued outside the gates, archers and riflemen alike taking a tactical advantage from the walls above to whittle down their forces while the supernatural fighters, the Magi, take to explosive battles on the frontlines. After a long, grueling battle, their forces are repelled, with the Moxtli tribeswoman Ariel Cirque, capturing another Sergeant, Dernust Flathair! Not long after their victory, the Stellus had but a short speech to give to the good men and women that fought in the name of their city.

"Achyon has once again allowed their heads to get too big. They think by marching on us with the intent of slaughtering us like cattle that we will stoop to their level. We've shown them with this display that their worst enemy is none other than themselves. They preach of solid dictation and judgement, yet they they to march on our city for no good reason. With this, they have shown just how little they value their most loyal of soldiers, by driving them headfirst into a fight they had not a chance in the slightest of winning under these circumstances. Osrona will continue this fight. We will drive them into the furthest corners of their walls, and we will free Esshar for all of its people once more."
