Which Event: A Trip Back Home
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): 10/10 Mal went afk a few times, but it never affected the pacing.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): 10/10 The ECs he pilots were a LITTLE trigger happy, but I could always find a persistent theme or spell interaction that they were built around.
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): 10/10 Absolutely fantastic, big fan of the attention to detail and how every character that attended was not left out.
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): 10/10 The worst we walked away with is a -5 perm.
Overall: 10/10
Any other comments: Everyone rolled VERY well, and I enjoyed Mal's tears

Which Event: A Trip Back Home
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): 10/10 There was no wait from the critter at all.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): 9/10 Fair yes but sheesh, chill sometime. If we got caught we got caught and often just ended up dead. We're armed boys, have mercy.
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): 10/10 Pretty good. I had my fun. Tatuya...
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): 9/10 See balance. Good rolls and throwing healing elixiers around saved our ass.
Overall: 9/10
Any other comments: delicious tears

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?):
10/10 Yeah, not much delay to be said here. Everyone wrote nice, narrates were coming fast.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?):
8/10 ECs were a challenge, but - come on, dude! PRESS ALT. I FELT THOSE ECS HAD SOMETHING PERSONAL WITH ME! Beyond that? I enjoyed their presence, writing and so on. They had their impact as expected, cool. But we're armed boys, have mercy.
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?):
10/10 Everyone had their slice of love, every RP was readed, taken, answered. Nothing bad to point on that part, I enjoyed how the story went.
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?):
9/10 Honestly? It's ride or die kind of event, you had to bet in your rolls - so? Yeah. But the rewards were very nice.
Overall: 9/10
Any other comments: We are blessed with the rolls, otherwise? Hah... Hah...............

Which Event: Hunt the Osucri.
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Yes.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): The only time I went 'woah wtf that was a bit crazy' was a singular period where bro used lava pool like 7 times but besides that everything else wasn't that bad.
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): 10/10 - I liked the puzzle and the introduction of the oscuri [ especially thru the perms with Reika and all that shit ]
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): 10
We came to hunt and Oscuri, and we hunted and Oscuri. The perm was unironically the biggest reward, probably.

Which Event: Technological Heist of the Century! - Man vs Machina
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Extremely! 10/10, never left waiting, no breaks, no pauses, super accommodating for time constraints and the sort.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): I lagged too hard to comment on the fight's balance but the traps were always fair and interesting and always accounted for neat perks and stuff. Really just wish I STOPPED ROLLING 2'S!!!
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): Raw. I really liked it, from an outsider's perspective. Lots of Barsburg stuff, but can we ban Milly for alt interacting in the event ty
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): I have no complaints. The perm in and of itself is something of a reward for getting mauled, I really really dig it, even beyond 'dev potential!!!11!1!' it's just STRONGLY thematic for her and gives me a huge hook to latch onto to keep progressing her story.
Overall: wondrful vent, 9.5 (docking 0.5 out of ultrasmash trauma)

Which Event: Technological Heist of the Century! - Man vs Machina
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Extremely quick response time, while adapting around the choices and creativity of the party.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): Balanced, with a good focus on testing the party´s IC skills for puzzles and deduction. The EC fight was also good, and all I can say is that Ultrasmash combo is real and it put the fear of god in us.
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): The scenery and build up was a proper adventure, along with the exploration of The Bunker. Every obstacle was logically inventive, and it built a complex set for the narrations.
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): Every challenge was beatable (with some work), and considering the rewards, it was reasonable that some were on the side of "make it at least to partial success or risk death."
Overall: 10/10, love Mal events.

Key/Character: Thomas G. Equisol
Which Event: Technological Heist of the Century! - Man vs Machina
Responsiveness: Mal was very responsive in terms of picking up the event, and he even created a google form to figure out our magic and for us to fill in stats (such as Strength, Finesse, and Resilience, and Charisma, Wisdom, and Fortune).
Balance: He had a lot of puzzles, but they were fair and the punishments for failing them was also fair! For example, I failed the hangman-esque puzzle and got a 24 day temp and the injuries stacked up from there. Someone walked away with a -20 perm, another a -10 perm. All in all, I enjoyed it.
Storytelling: The Storytelling was great, as it vaguely referenced people who sought to build Barsburg again from the ground up. It definitely opens the possibility of going back and seeing what these machine weirdos are doing. But as it stood we were short on time/people and I randomly have to go in to work at 4am, so here we are.
Fairness: Very fair. He worked with what we had, and enjoyed creative twists. Like for example when I realized that fire needed air to survive so I removed the air from a certain area to negate a fire move.
Overall: 10/10

Key/Character: Barron Bargiel
Which Event: Technological Heist of the Century! - Man vs Machina
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Very much so. Every narrate was incredibly snappy and responsive according to the actions taken and what skill set the party brought to the table.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): EC balance was fine, I wish I wasn't armed but that is just me carrying the L on my shoulders. We were given many opportunities to not run into bosses assuming that we didn't pick poor choices, and all of our own character's expertise felt as though it was taken into account.
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): I very much enjoyed the speed of the narrates that helped with moving the story along, with every sub-group within the event being able to act independently within their own
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): Making a small mistake or rolling poorly resulted in severe penalties, but the rewards were worth it.
Enjoyable event overall, I enjoyed the narrative focus vs the combat focus personally. Ready to go on another one and catch more -vit

Which Event: Hunt the Oscuri
Responsiveness:
Mal is very quick to write and respond.
Balance:
There was a sense of oppressiveness to the fight without ever being immediately and totally unfair. It is not an impossibility to play these fights without an invuln, even if it can be really hard to get out of difficult positions. But, with the tidal type spells used, there was always a level of predictability to it all. There was a feeling, that there was a system despite the madness of the fight.
Fuck water dome though!! That arena had way too many obstacles at the edges to begin with for the arena to get completely flooded.
Also the game of hangman was good.
Storytelling:
It was fun. I think this is the star point of Mal's events that makes him deserve glazing.
The event was grotesque and insane, exactly as you might expect from an oscuri who is 'crashing out'. It emphasized a strong sense of lunacy molded by 'a long lifespan' with the 'fighty' nature of these beings. Alongside this, his ability for building setting and characterization. Mal very obviously knows what he's doing. It only makes me wish there was more- given it was a shortform event, interactivity was minimal.
Fairness:
Honestly? I am not sure. I am a bit negative in this prospect, because my undiagnosed adhd desires immediate stimulation and results.
The event was exactly as stated: Difficult with a Chance of Death. We rolled a critical injury and two other perms out of a group of five on an extremely difficult fight for 15 tokens (or 15,000 coins) each. The fight itself was extraordinarily tough and risky, and we most certainly paid a price in blood.
There is perhaps something more to come out of all of this, but only time will tell.
Overall:
Mal is an incredible writer. Regardless of the bits of negative feelings toward the event, my opinion of him is positive and will be evermore. I think everyone should have the opportunity to experience an event ran by him.
There isn't too much more to say. This was a 'short event' in the 3-4 hour range (idr i didnt watch the clock).
Which- I think the game genuinely needs a lot more of. 6-8+ Hour Events can be very tedious.
Makes it easier to lock in for the duration.
