Guild Command - Dungeon Key: A member of a guild can generate a dungeon key once per year. So 10 active members means a guild collectively has 10 keys that year. The character uses the key on a dungeon entrance to be granted access, and their party members (if they have any, which they should!) are also brought with. Each dungeon has a boss that drops loot and a moderate amount of coin.

There should be three tiers of bosses, each with scaling rewards: Beginner, Intermediate, and Extreme.
New spells should be added for bosses to make fighting them as a party engaging.

Bonus: ECs should be able to enter any dungeon at any time, but cannot damage monsters. You roleplay with them.

A character should be limited to one guild for the sake of loyalty/identity.

This feature would accomplish multiple things:
  • Encourage and incentivize characters to join a guild and get involved with a group. Encourage new guild startups - You generally want more members in your guild to increase the number of potential dungeon runs in parties each year.
  • Give characters who aren't crafters better opportunity to earn funds in a more interesting (and social) way. Being invited to a dungeon with the guild you've joined is much more fun than chopping at a tree.
  • Increase roaming across the map, when heading towards a dungeon location. I think as is the travel is fine so this is more of a minor benefit, but anything that gets people moving about is generally a good thing.

Guild Command - Pledge Loyalty: A command available to the leader of a guild. They're given a list of cities and they choose one for their guild to be devoted to. All active members in the guild gain a small activity bonus while roleplaying within that city. (I don't believe this would discourage roaming since gathering & dungeons would be such core aspects, plus the world is designed really well and fun to travel through - good job map team!)
There should be a year long cooldown on the command.

Use OP daemon spells as boss spells..

Maybe have some ECs be the bosses of Extreme dungeons, so really give them a spooky feel. That'd be fun.

I know this might be a controversial opinion but

I fear the influence point system. I don't really like it either; while having a direct perspective of how a character is and feels before certain situations when you only see one side of them is nice through bios, I don't think people should be shot down for not having their own little section of character. Some people are less confident about writing those posts. The same goes for in-game journal writing; it does sound nice in retrospect and I'd likely have no issue writing in it myself (I basically already do) but it does feel like something that will get old really fast, especially for the staff that'll have to go and read through massive walls of nonsense at times.

I think it also kills any sense of surprise; an out-of-the-blue witch app is exciting if you think about it.

then again seeing the progress as it goes on is cool.

i dont know. i dont feel it for now.

ps: guild ap is cute but it will absolutely kill dead places, which is a plus?
pps: pve bosses are... funny to me. i do believe the loot shouldn't be super significant, even in the most extreme of fights. i've already seen the value of arcanium drop massively, making reagents or lootbox loot the loot is probably the way to go.

keep in mind you can be very low effort or simply update the journal when you mark your interest for a specific ability, then ask for a character review/log check. our focus would be on the events you list & your recent roleplaying, then we award IP
if you want to attach logs/format it like a standard app, you can. that's up to you

for more specific abilities that have lore implications (such as witchcraft) we'd expect to see heavy development in that direction. for Big Fire we don't really care
