Playtime is Ogre
#1

Quote:Crudely drawn with crayons, misspelled but it has the spirit.
An ogre can be seen trying to get copies of this paper distributed to those who may be interested.

Details are:
- Will fight a battle (Raid or otherwise) for you. It will not fight anyone whose magic circuits have yet to mature (Below RPL 200) and it will only fight those that are not currently injured.
- Will not capture a target and bring them to you. It is a mercenary, not a kidnapper.
- Will seek out the target and challenge them directly and openly, especially if a location is provided. Unless you want it to fight in a raid battle, then it won't.
- Will not fight anyone outside of the target, unless in self-defense.
- Will let others know that it is commissioned work and therefore nothing personal. But it will not name the person who has requested its services.
- Will not accept long-term contracts, it's not going into employment or a workforce.
- Will accept work that is not necessarily physical battles, accepting work that includes mental and verbal battles (subject for interpretation). You want an ogre to sit in for you in class? Look no further. You want an ogre to sit in for you for cooking competitions? It's got an ogre-sized apron.
- Will only accept payment in coins. 50% is paid upfront, the other 50% is paid after. No metals, dev mats, or whatever else will be accepted.

Contact details are attached (feel free to send a letter in game or coordinate a meeting through PM).
The ogre is also frequently roaming the wilderness.

P.S.: The ogre will accept contracts aimed at acquaintances, friends and allies. Work is work.

Belatedly added is the ogre's contact details (Ailith Tagasundo)

Another public announcement has been given out by the ogre regarding its services, putting forth a particularly open and unabashed 'counter' of sorts to entice more people to avail its services:

CURRENT TOTAL EARNINGS: 410,143c

Alongside a particularly invigorating claim: "NEED SOMEONE TO WASH YOUR CLOTHES? CAN DO. NEED SOMEONE TO COOK FOR YOU? CAN DO. NEED SOMEONE TO FISH FOR YOU? CAN DO. NEED SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER YOUR CHILDREN? CAN DO. MERC WORK CAN EXTEND TO EVERYTHING."

OOC Note: For those who are particularly curious, Ailith Tagasundo sounds like Dr. Mundo (Corporate Mundo Skin) from League of Legends.

Despite missing its first big job (the ogre is sad), the ogre opens up a feedback area for its commissions and its work. While it is not vetted, it is highly suggested that only those who have commissioned the ogre previously to be the ones to give their feedback: successful job or not.

A new review comes in. It is not anonymous at all, and comes from a figure well known around the country.

Review: Tasked with the procurement and delivery of reagents. Handled it fast and well, and remained committed enough to obtain a high quantity as well. Good work.
Rating: 5/5 Ogres.

In a stellar display of customer-Ogre accountability, the ogre has promised Silas a coupon for a free task! To be used whenever he wants. Once the coupon has been claimed, it can only be used by the person who claims it. Additionally, no further adjustments of the task claimed through the coupon made be done once the contract-task has been given to the ogre.

Another job, another review.

Review: Tasked with being artwork. Their body made for the perfect canvas, to test the efficiency and potency of my newest ink. They followed the instructions they were given clearly, and were perhaps the most punctual client I've ever worked with. If their other jobs don't result in their untimely demise, I will gladly hire them again.

Review: Picture yourself. You are casually observing your farm and enjoying nature. Then there is an ogre peeking out. Many would be scared with such encounter, but that Ogre declared quick enough they were a mercenary. I was clueless on how I could employ him at first, but then I thought about these muscles. Mightier than an Ox, more endurant than a donkey. So I asked him to help the local lumberjacks to help gathering more logs for Arcadia. And he did a fine job, without any issues to report. No missing workers, more fright than actual harm. He seems pleasant, even if his langage barrier is rather simple.
