Meranthe Auction House
Rumor has it that there will be a auction hosted this Sunday (5PM EST)

Remains open for 24 hours.

RULES REMINDER!!!
You may only bid on one item per round. You bid by posting, including your character name & amount of coin, and your bid must be at least 10% higher than the previous one.

If you lose a bid, then you're free to bid on something else.

You cannot withdraw bids. You're locked it, so choose carefully.

Bidding remains open from 48 hours of the round post. Unsportsmanlike behaviour of the 48 hour rule will be investigated and rectified. Only bid if your character actually has the coin available at the time of your post, and you should not be sharing coin with another to maximize chances of success; your coin is your own once you place a bid.

Some items may be sold in multiples and these have a set price to them, marked. They're first come first served.

You may respond to bids with in-game action after the auction concludes, but not during.

If your character has not been actively roleplaying within the past few weeks you're not permitted to bid or use a middleman to do so for you. This includes passing off coin to help others.

During the festivities of the Halloween season, some particularly themed objects appear on the market...
The Flaming Skull
Starting Bid: 50,000c
"A helm that is said to contain the spirit of an ancient pirate lord, built of his skull and framed by the black and gold hat he wore. Spectral mist leaks out piece and it seems to float when worn!"

Black Prism Pearl
Starting Bid: 50,000c
"A wonder unearthed from the depths of the oceans. Possessed by powerful magic, explorers who brought up this piece could feel the magical resonance of this piece. Deemed dangerous to touch by the uninitiated and too problematic for salvagers to keep a hold of, this amulet could be yours! Made of what seems to be a black pearl, rainbow light dances within this piece in magical resonance- Hung on a chain of what seems to be delicately laced, ancient arcanium. It seems to bolden and quicken the heartbeat of any around it, hinting that it could be a great wellspring of vitality. Even so, the salvage team insists that they do not know nor intend to know further properties, as magical as it is and the cost they demand for this find. It may be powerful, but dangerous. Buyer beware!"

The World Wound
Starting Bid: 80,000c
The composition of the world is something that is still being discovered, the way the realms overlay and interact, the way the land is enriched with magics and the way in which power is transferred to its inhabitants. At the heart of all of these is the lifestream, an ever flowing river of mana and energy.

Each star in the sky is a small pool, relatively microscopic in comparison to the depths of which is held in reality's veins. It is separate to the world, yet connected. A circulatory system. It is wielded by all magi and is both utilised and extorted further by others. The greed of man is, if anything, a driving force to the advancement in the harnessing of power.

With as ethereal and disconnected as the lifestream is, there have been many attempts at drawing more and more of its energies into this realm. With a strange and vile combination of rift, ancient necromantic and even a twisted mockery of the divine, a wound was rent into the fabric of Eternia.

A hole. A seeping puncture. It is not fixed, not locked to one space. Instead it has been contained and trapped. Partially in an attempt to mend it and equally in an attempt to monopolise it. This wound, a spark of leaking lifestream is now housed within a thin and fragile glass cube.

Runes are carved all across it, constantly empowered from the wild magics raging within. It glows a soft prismatic array of colours. Throughout the years the creation has been accredited to various nations and people. From devout offspring of the very angels to arch liches hidden away from the light of creation. Yet none are ever entirely correct.

Though there are some clues to its creator. The runic language is an ancient script, a first or second iteration of the knowledge bestowed upon mankind by the vassals of Kraus. And while their functions seem self evident, they are not fully explored. The wound is contained, yes. It has even been harvested, the raw mana able to be siphoned out at each of the corners.

Yet there is no purpose attached to it, no expectations. Something of great power, of a multitude of secrets. Something to both exploit and explore.

Scythe of the Grim Reaper
Starting Bid: 50,000c
"An impressive scythe that was supposedly wielded by one of Azrael's Generals during the divine war. A timeless silver blade of artisan quality and beyond that's held up over the millennia."

Werewolf Elixir
Starting Bid: 30,000c
"This potion supposedly transforms the drinker into the legendary werewolf... able to shift into a bipedal, bloodthirsty wolf, forsaking emotional control when they do. Whether voluntary or through anger. Not to be consumed lightly!"

Vampire Elixir
Starting Bid: 30,000c
"This potion supposedly transforms the drinker into the legendary vampire... hah, no, it just allows the person to shapeshift into a 'bat' for a few seconds. But maybe it'll be useful?"

Ebonfeather
Starting Bid: 15,000c
"A slender, black feather, cold and dark to both touch and sight. When exposed to etheric mana, the bauble reveals its true origin- an occultic flare of a pale grey seems to emanate from a dying circuit, revealing the feather as one of Na'Ria's, the slain Imperfect and Lord of Knowledge. Sharp and durable as steel, these feathers are presumed to either be simple sheddings or a result of regenerated damage in its many battles."

Stone of Twilight
60,000c (Six Available)
"Rare ore found occasionally amidst arcanium deposits along the equator. An enchanting blend of midnight blue embodying the night, accompanied by the bright gleam of gold which cuts through the other half, embodying the day. Melding the two tones together is a deep purple along the middle, which is where its name comes from.

Ghostly Lantern
60,000c (Six Available)
"An ominous lantern that does the reverse of what you'd expect: it gives off unlight, making the bearer and anything nearby near invisible. Perfect to sneak up on someone and say 'boo'!"

Dreamcatcher

30,000c (Six Available)
"A leather-like necklace forms a circle, and within the shape is a connecting fabric that resembles white silk. It exudes a protective kind of mana that feels almost 'sticky' to the self, warding stray curses and malevolent spirits during these trying times!"

Pumpkin Amulet
10,000c (Fifteen Available)
"It's Halloween! An orange-gold amulet, shaped to resemble a carved pumpkin! The perfect seasonal key chain."

Pumpkin Cloak
10,000c (Fifteen Available)
"It's Halloween! A pumpkin themed cloak. The embroidery of the pumpkin itself is knitted in a dense, fibrous material that is spiritually aligned: one could easily repurpose it should the piece go out of season! Otherwise the bright, orange pumpkin on the back is pretty snazzy."
