'I still remember the stories.

Of brave magi defeating demons with holy fervor. 

Of Templar and Exorcists standing side by side against the forces of darkness. 

Of mythical Heroes with masterful control over the light and the forces that stood alongside it. 

And with the swelling of the darkness around us, and the growing threat of demons returning to Esshar?

Well, I don't really understand why we should let our side of the stories remain as stories. 

After all, if there was truth to one side of it all, then surely there is some truth to be found in ours as well.'

With tales of demon hunters and great warriors imbued with divine powers filling her young mind, A certain young Gardios wants to set out to do a bit of danger seeking and ruin pilfering. Its only right for a teen to poke around somewhere that they probably aren't meant to of course, and it's all about the intent anyway! So, when reading through a few books (ones she definitely didn't steal from the library) and happening across some mention the ruins of an old exorcist fort tucked against a part of the mountains that still fell under Osronan territory there was no stopping the young teen from making up a bunch of stories in her head that would convince her friends and siblings that it was too good of an opportunity to pass up. 

So, likely without getting their parents to sign a permission slip of any kind. She intends to lead them off to these ruins in hopes to find something that could make them as cool as the powerful magi that came before them to serve The Faith.
