The priestesses' second eye has been missing in action for many years. Some theorise it has something to do with Raithe D. Folhammar.

The First Sirenian's Eyes and Voice, and a living representation of Nemea’s covenant with Leucothea.

The priestess and her good friend Mnemosyne Montelione of The Traverse talking about something fishy.

Nereides' First Duchess, made true in 2135AC, Winter.

Exalted Half-Spirit, blessed by Leucothea and Nemea both.

In her younger years she sought to tangibly realize Leucothea’s wish to watch each one of her children in life, as Yama did in death. She too carried her wish to share her song, so that she too could console those many Selkie. The sirenian eventually summoned forth Leucothea to ask that she might serve as her Champion, gathering tales of her children in an enchanted songbook and singing to them to soothe their hearts. So too did she summon forth her spirit and sanctify it of a long-time curse, eventually travelling to her domain to deliver a plea that would bring her and Nemea together.

Anointing herself with a promise to protect the Selkie forevermore and serve Leucothea’s Songstress on land, she oversees the sandy isles of Nereides and safeguards those of Sirenia. Her role primarily is healer and caretaker, oftentimes singing at sunrise and stalking the halls of the temple. While she might often wither out of sight or travel around the isle wispily, as though a melody contained in the breeze, one can sing a song to summon her, and she just might appear.

As one of Leucothea's closest followers she also serves as her voice when need be to deliver unto the Selkie and Sirenia her messages.

Rumors[edit]

The validity of these claims is up to speculation.

  • When serving in the Elzara she was the wielder of the trident Mariana, first wielded by High Priestess Maliyah, secondly wielded by her successor, Commander Ria.
  • She was first an Anguill, then 'became' a Selkie after inheriting Leucothea's curse, but then also became somewhat incorporeal, and then grew purple-black Faeborne wings..?
  • She knew almost nothing about her kin in her early twenties, wandering the continent aimlessly with displeasure, equipped with a desire for a... glorious execution?
  • A past journalist with questionable integrity; it is said 'The Quill' newspaper was founded by her desire to anchor herself to the present moment and stop worrying about the future!
  • It would seem in spite of her many professions she is most remembered continent-wide as an Idol that once collaborated with the famous Frivida 'Friday' Valmonte..?!
  • Flowers and vines trace across her skin, old scars becoming home to a myriad of small blossoms, with one specifically large one on her right forearm called ‘Floweragi.’ (Who calls a flower ‘Floweragi’ …?)
  • She naturally has a large fondness for all manners of vegetation, namely flowers - the Azilaena claiming her heart above all blossoms, challenged naturally by only one: the Lumin!
  • Commonly drinking tea. If she is not drinking tea, it is very likely a bad omen!

Lorekeeper - OOC[edit]

This is a lorekeeper: A character played by a DM that has an active role in the world. They are different from standard PCs as follows,

  • Cannot join raids unless they're specifically a target; this includes all offensive battles.
  • Cannot intervene through combat to prevent a capture or be intervened on.
  • Should avoid roaming the map if it could potentially lead to hostilities unless disguised.
  • Can host mini-events, spawn items, etc, with GM supervision. Also acts as a mentor figure and gateway to potential magic or plot hooks.
  • Can kill / be a threat, but should do so with good reason and at a high standard.
