Koretheia
The Goddess of Rebirth, Renewal, Redemption, Life, Light, Harmony and Balance.
The Maiden of Spring.
That is who Korëtheia is.
Reborn and rebirthed through a rather rebellious act by Athelios during the Pantheon's schism, she was given the Vale of Forgiving Light and ultimately ended up truly ascending unto Aschea's seat, now as her daughter. Yet, there remains no memories of the past life - that of Azalea Aubreen - within the young goddess' mind. Some inclinations, of course, towards goodness and such as was demanded of Athelios', and as is demanded of her domains, do linger.
While she rested within the Entombed Seed, Korëtheia was haunted by nightmares during her dreams as she adjusted to the Vale. A group of well-minded individuals, headed by Miriam Equisol, dove deep into the source of these nightmares and banishing the lingering darkness and doubts that had started to build up, allowing them the first glance at who they were working so hard to save.
In 2138AC, a vast quantity of motes from faithful individuals had been gathered, as those who wished for this goddess in particular to walk the lands once more were brought together for this goal. This resulted in not just the 'hatching' of Korëtheia, but the return of the sapling of Solais.
Her story continues to unfold, even now.
Rumors[edit]
The validity of these claims is up to speculation.
- Due to possessing the entirety of what had remained of Aschea's aether and Athelios involvement, she is as much a blooded daughter of Aschea as Eos is, or as Achlys is.
- The Aerodyne often refer to her as 'Mother', as many of their blessings come directly from Korëtheia herself - whether born with it, or given such a blessing directly.
- The sakura tree in the center of her Aetius realm constantly pulses life throughout what had once simply been rock and space.
- A bird's call in the Garden or in front of Solais can summon the Maiden should she be required.
- All that remains of Azalea Aubreen is that everflowing love.

- Can kill / be a threat, but should do so with good reason and at a high standard.
