The squeak of a marker sounds out as a mobile whiteboard is written on haphazardly with vaguely legible handwriting.

"So! Here are the details for our mission here! We're going t-"

"We didn't forget my speaker's, right? RIGHT!?"

"For the love of... WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THAT!! If you want to know so badly... GO CHECK!! Someone has to keep the gun POINTED! That's the whole point of keeping someone AT GUNPOINT!"

"Damn it X-3 I told you to make sure you had everything you needed before we stowed away on the ship! If you didn't pack them we can't turn around now an- dang it just give me the gun X-1, I'll point you talk!"

A slow sigh comes from one of the three. A cheap, magitech revolver handed off, as they clear their throat to speak.

"ALRIGHT THEN!! The mission... Your mission. OUR. Mission! In case any of you haven't been up to date on the news... A few years back, a Squadron went, as per the stupidity of the Imperator, to whip Esshar back into shape for the empire! And absolutely Z E R O news has come back regarding their fate...

So you may be asking! X-1! What in the world does this have to do with dragging us all out of Barsburg, hijacking a cargo ship, and keeping the Captain at gunpoint to get us where we need to go? Well I'll tell you!

We. Are going to succeed where others have failed! We. Are going to rebuild the lost settlement. And bring about an age of Magitech to that sad, little continent and its backwards people... I mean. Seriously. They say some even still live in castles... Yeesh. How gaudy! I will be honest... We won't have many comforts for a while. So prepare to set up mobile camps as soon as we hit the shore! We have enough rations for the rest of the trip and a few days... Assuming X-3 isn't taking extra again.

Whoever among the Xi want to pack up, and turn around after this ship's at the destination? Go right ahead. We're not stopping you... But those who want to actually do something worth the effort, instead of wasting away precious time doing nothing... Step forward! We're going to whip this continent into shape..."

OOC Notes Regarding This Ragtag Group...

They are not an official squadron, in spite of the big talk of X-1. They're, in fact, just a group of overzealous kids!

The Xi are, technically, a 'found family' ordeal, more so than a trained group, but remain fiercely attached to the ideologies of Barsburg. Progress over morality, as well as working with calculation and efficiency.

Why are three of them only identified by a letter and number? They can't convict you if they don't have your name! Probably.

X-1, and X-2 will provide most, if not all Artificing needs for the group!

The group will be spawning in, depending on schedules, either during 1887 or 1888!
