Elysia - The Astyan Restoration Movement

In their time spent together at Starfall Academy, a number of groups were formed as students shared thoughts and ideals. This is where the Astyan Restoration Movement began, where discontent was expressed with Osrona... and a dream, shared by all members of the guild...

...the unity and rise of the kingdom to be the superpower it deserves to be, feared and respected the world over. An army that would have land tremble. This is a movement to meet that end, situated in a tower in the far east, where they exert pressure on the capital city Osrona to rise and meet its true potential.

I. The Astyan Restoration Movement supports the Pelleaux Family as the ones charged to lead Esshar into a new age, and considers the current Petrakis illegitimate. After all, the current Queen wasn't even a noble to begin with: before she was known as Queen Eisele Petrakis her name was simply Eislele Metras. A stolen heritage. The adopted child of Arista Petrakis, also not a Petrakis. It is a disrespectful use of a sacred heritage and neither her nor the past Queen deserved to bear the legacy of the demigod Mikhail Petrakis. They have no great victories to show for it or lands seized, only inaction. Her children - half mutt as they are - should similarly rescind the surname.

II. We take our inspiration and philosophy from the ancient guiding councils of the Astyan warlords that once ruled the world over. In light of failing mentors, we look to the past. Astya was a superpower that conquered much of the known world, bringing about a great era of change. So was Esshar during its prime when it adhered to the principles of tradition. Osrona allows threats like the Ebonblooded to trample on them then sits back in sloth-like fashion. We want outward, ever reaching ambition, not just in Esshar, but beyond its borders too.

III. Much like Amalia Elaide and her demon army were used as a tool of war by the Astyans, Occultists and their ilk are permissible so long as they pledge themselves. They must acknowledge their fatal flaw and show a desire to avoid being devoured by insanity, and we will teach them to harness their power as a tool for destruction against the enemies of the kingdom. Outward exertion and practice of techniques we've developed during our learnings at the academy is crucial.

IV. We campaign for the Chasm to be torn down, or at the very least, not used to 'cleanse' people as a lazy half-measure. Too much reliance on it place of better judgement and the noose. Criminals should be fairly, and equally, judged under the law, not given a bath in holy magic and sent packing. This does not absolve your responsibility to them.

V. If a King or Queen meets these ideals, or comes close, we'll strive to help them conquer all of Esshar, as it should be. We purposely chose to begin our guild in the treacherous east to bring about unity: the bandit king Havoc has already chosen Erika Soleis as his successor. This is just the start. In the south are unruly Rhoynish waiting to be put under heel, and in the north are black wings that blot out the sun. The time for action is now. Osrona is our home and we wish to see it prosper.
