Academy Bulletin Board! - A New Beginning
#1
[Image: HvV6z3z.png]

Welcome students from the class of 1882,

the life of a magi is full of adventures and journeys to amazing places! to prepare you for that life, the teachers of the academy have gathered together to create a curriculum that will most likely, fulfill all of your expectations.
The classes are going to be published daily on the bulletin board in the great hall. There you will be able to find not only your regular classes but also extracurriculars courses that will help you expand your view of the world.
RULES
1. This is a place where you will be able to find all the classes and courses that the academy will and can offer their students, there are two types of them, one is the normal classes, which are usually imparted by the staff, and are accessible to all students, The second type is more extracurriculars, these are going to be special courses imparted by either a staff member or a guess professor, they are events pre-planned, pre-approved, and can have limited spots.

2. In the case of the normal classes, you will not have to reply in this thread, you can just attempt the classes, which will be announced also in-game.
3. For the extracurriculars, you will be asked to gather a group, usually from people within your same house, and request the spots,  the DM will accept the party and proceed with the class/event.
4. ICly, all quests are submitted by a teacher and are approved by the headmaster.

DM/TEACHERS RULES
1. Before posting your class you should make sure that it's approved by staff (feel free to contact me @Penguin#2562) the same goes for those that want to do an event-like class.
2. It's important that if you're running a class that has limited spaces, that you let others know when they are filled.
3. DM that are not part of the staff member can participate in this! you're encouraged to bring your ideas much like the last quest board!

4. You do not need to write full blown event plans unless you want to. What we mainly want to know is an idea of your event and the rewards.

Provided below are templates that you can use to submit your classes or ask to be part of a class.

(Notice: You are not cool enough to be these hunters yet. Soon little ones.)
Class The Starfall Hunt!
"So I've heard that the Headmaster said you lot might be the worst generation he's ever seen! Or something like that anyway! Well, don't you worry, I'll give you something much better to go venting all that adolescent anger on!"

Professor: Elaine C. Vandaroy
Dates: 11/16, 11/18 and 11/19
Times: 11/16 - 8pm EST
11/18 - After Miniature Warfare
11/19 - 8pm EST

"Now, I'm sure you're all wondering why the esteemed Vandaroy is here, so be quiet and I'll explain! The other Professors have their own ways of doing things, and I'll have mine, and instead of sitting in a classroom, I'm gonna give you some practical experience and something to hit that isn't each other. Starting with House Leonaus, then House Fenrir and finally House Basilisk, I'm going to personally escort you out into the wilderness, let you try your hands at tracking down a beast I've found in the area, and let you go to work removing the threat to the world it poses!

Oh, and did I mention you get to learn how to gut and clean your kill afterward?

None of you will be in any serious danger while I'm there, but I don't want to hear any crying if someone gets bit! It's dangerous, and should give you some appreciation of the wild! If you wanna come with me, fill out this here letter!"

https://forms.gle/nhfRFwW8spzT5q9y8

OOC Notes: This will be a series of hunts, one for each house!
House Leonaus hunts first at 8pm EST, on 11/16/2021!
House Fenrir hunts second at the conclusion of the Miniature Warfare event, on 11/18/2021!
Finally, House Basilisk hunts at 8pm EST, on 11/19/2021!

This will have an element of danger, though nothing too high. Higher risk hunts will likely come later in the arc!

Understand that all guest speakers are chosen carefully and that student and guest safety go hand in hand.
Any students disrupting the class to fight among eachother or with the guest speaker will be asked to remove themselves, punished appropriately, and banned from any further sanctioned trips under Ranym's wing.
Late-comers are asked to make their way to the pre-arranged destination as swiftly and safely as possible.

This does not count towards any special graduation credits, and is more of a 'field trip' meant to encourage an alternative learning experience and self-directed growth.
