Cat and Mouse.
#1
Multiple shadow-like beings appear throughout the entirety of Esshar at once. They're still, signs of movement nowhere to be seen before their mouths slowly open, the voice of a certain Rhyonish who's known to some coming out of them, all at once.

"Testing! One.. two.. three!"

"I'm in!"

"Hello, beautiful denizens of the gloomy continent that is Esshar!"

"You might be wondering who I am; I am Zael Vorso, the Black Lion."

"I'm looking for a certain suit of armor."

"Hey Sparrow, missed me?"

"Hope you liked the gift which I sent to you! Or did it get lost along the way? Would be disappointing really."

"She spoke so much shit too."

"When you gripped my hand, I remember you marking me for death. Yet, I've been kickin' the ass of any lackey of yours that I ran into, hopefully to send a message."

"You were sloppy with your attempt to kill me."

"Aren't ya tired of this game of cat and mouse? It's about time we wrap up this game of ours. No more people between us."

"I'll show the result of your sloppy work."

"You and me. One last round of combat to determine who wins it all."

"I'll be waiting, okay?~"

Deep into the corruption stricken lands of the Mires, the shadow's voice was carried along a river... and from it, a ripple that would echo through the murky waters of the shadowed swamp ended up travelling as far as to the untainted lands that bordered it, an old and tired voice grasping the mind of the slaves which served the Vorso.

An answer was given.

Quote:
"The wee cub has grown t' be a lion... well, wouldna that be a sight t' behold?"

"Heh... I care nah fer yer self-proclaimed titles or who ye 'ave managed t' best lad... but I will admit, it appears ye 'ave made a name fer yerrself."

"Thar was once a time when I wished ye dead at me feet, fer makin' one which I would perhaps call a buddy end up betrayin' me... fer sendin' those droves o' mindless scallywags t' me doorsteps only fer 'em t' return wit' otherwordly nightmares one by one..."

"In the end, I thought ye we be nah worth me time... but I see it now that I was squiffy fer nah finishin' this even if I wasn't the one who started."

"Wha' better way t' finish this than at the place where this began? Remember where? The open clearin' in the Mires where ye dared attack me 'n I took yer teach 'n friend from ye?"

"Come... I'll be waiting."

Rumours of the location and duel to happen spread through the Mires, as what manners of Monsters that remained lost in those woods, either roaming around or perhaps still holding to the old ways of their kin could feel a shift of corruption, a miasma that encroached onto the area where everything would come to an end.

Settings: DEADLY? (Agreed)

The sound of violent clashing fills the entirety of what remains of the Mire, place even begins to shake due to the violent clash between the two Warriors.

Then a scream came.

A vibration similar to an earthquake followed through.

Then silence.

The silence meant one thing.

The Black Lion has finished his hunt.
