Key/Character: Grendel Beo
Which Event: The roots of a sapling.
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): 10/10. Frankly, I think we might have taken more time responding than him.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): 8/10 There was only one fight in the end (since we moved through the riddles/had a high roll to evade conflict successfully), and it was 2v1. Fight was might have felt a bit too easy, but considering it was both CoI, and the DM purposefully fought by altering his focus between the two of us so that we both get our chances to shine, so no complaints here (Besides, trying to balance yourself around purposefully shifting between two combatants must be tough.)
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): 8/10 It did feel like what I had expected, overall, a way to communicate with the spirits. perhaps my only gripe might be the end, where one character had to pick option A, while the other had to pick option B in order to move forward. I understand the reasoning (with it being part of the balance, thematically), but I can understand if there might be some grief or sadness over being stuck with the option you didn't want to take.
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): 10/10. We asked for COI event for a dev, and this is what we got :)
Overall: 9/10

Key/Character: SaddestSeaHorse/Willow Reid
Which Event: The Roots of a Sapling
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): They were easy to follow and well paced, sometimes narrates can be hard to follow in an event, but he made sure to keep it descriptive yet simple. Enough context clues were given to solve riddles and the theme was spot on.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): Good balance, he made us work for it! No complaints.
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): They did! Lots of dev was given and plot pushing points to make the characters react, rather than just trudge through the event. It felt like an adventure, not a chore.
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): Punishments were justified. Everyone rolled high so there is not too much to judge there.
Overall: 10/10, would let them plan my character's death trap again.
