Heal's DMing for the Masses
#11
Key/Char: Sentinel

Which Event: The Journey Home

Responsiveness: Everything went perfectly smoothly

Balanced: Yep, very evenly matched fights

Storytelling: Fantastic, was right on target with everything and way beyond the original idea

Fairness: Yep

Overall: Heals is an excellent DM (but knows that already, pfffffft) easily 10/10 in every category. We didn't quite get to the last part of the event due to unrelated issues but still had a fantastic time despite that

Key/Character: Robin lux Queen

Which Event: Tales from the Crypt Event

Responsiveness: Very responsive, and cordial.  Spectacularly heals thangs.

Balance: Not bad at all, Crystal was a little buggy but honestly it was okay. We still had oodles of fun and still got some clutch moments in there.

Storytelling: Heals' stories are long, compelling and immersive. If you want to just strap in for some baller assed story? You come here.

Fairness: Pretty fair, completely rng. Though the rolls required were a bit steep, it wasn't anything we couldn't handle.

Overall: 10/10 A very pleasant and attention altering experience. Barely noticed the time, and honestly would do again many times over.

Which Event: Tales from the Crypt Event

Responsiveness: Everything came in a very timely manner.

Balanced: Everything was pretty solid! Save for a few of the crystal things being a bit weird, but that was fine! Everything else was a blast.

Storytelling: An immersive trip through a crypt, filled with traps, spooky ghosts, and just a few other angry things that wanted to murder us. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better time in a crypt.

Fairness: I can't really think of anything to complain about here. Several temps in exchange for some arc, and some really cool development materials. SO! I'd say it was very fair.

Overall: 10/10 It was a lovely time, filled with suspense, and me getting hit by just about every trap. Thus, probably giving me tetanus, but considering how much fun I had, I'd say a little tetanus was worth it.

Key/Char: Alyssa cos D'Arnette

Which Event: Tales from the Crypt

Responsiveness: 10/10 Responses were done in a reasonable amount of time.

Balance: The HP stacking bug is annoying but it just made it more challenging I suppose.

Storytelling: 10/10 The lore behind it was lovely, and I like that basically everyone was included in it.

Fairness: 11/10 Easy

Overall: 10/10 It was a good time, and the ECs were unconventional instead of run of the mill builds you would typically see from most.

Which Event: Tales from the Crypt

Responsiveness: Pretty darn quick. 10/10

Balance: Crystal is stronk but other than that everything was oki

Storytelling: Great story telling no doubt.

Fairness: Very fair and reasonable 10/10!

Overall: 10/10 Everything in general was pretty interesting, story telling, balance, traps and a bunch of other stuff makes it fun. Would request again.

Which Event: https://chronicles-of-esshar.com/forum/s...n=lastpost

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Much like last time they were pretty quick replies for how detailed and informative they were.

Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): Pretty balanced, had a fun 2v1 that was pretty entertaining. Difficult but fair and that makes sense given the reward.

Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): Super good, I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): Yep! All seemed fair to me.

Overall: 10/10 Would recommend as they did a very nice job overall.

Any other comments: This is actually an extremely late review regarding the final event in the chain of events. I'd honestly forgotten to leave a review because stuff came up IRL and it just escaped my memory. But it's here now. Uncertain if posting another review for the same event 'chain' is acceptable or not but by all means it was quite pleasant.
