Whispers spread through Esshar telling tales of of a strange figure roaming the forest west of the Waystone Inn...

One man, a worker at the Inn, claims to have spoken to the mysterious figure.

"Seen 'er with me own two eyes! A little girl, no older than I'd say about ten just wandering the forest!
Nothin' too odd, I know, 'cept fer the owl. Had to be about twenty or thirty of 'em, all in the trees around 'er!

I asked 'er what a little girl is doin' on her lonesome in the woods, but when she responded, it weren't no girl's voice, but a grown woman!

She told me she be grantin' powers to those who come seekin' her out. Power that comes at a costly price."
