Background

A secretive, personal project of the Witch - and self-proclaimed Great Beast - Vion Morgen.

The Amalgam is a complex network of witchcraft and Technomancy, all wrapped right up in a human-approximate form!

A soul stolen from the stars above, a Synthetic body created with an expert's hand, and the essence of an untold number of unfortunate people.

All for the witch's vision of a fateless life, free from what she sees as the tyranny of the divine.

What exactly it does with this new existence is secondary to the initial mission statement.

It was not built to be a weapon.

It was built to be a 'person', by someone with an utterly deranged image of what exactly that means.

What is expected of you?

- Activity.

Yes, this comes first.

Please have some degree of presence. If you expect that you'll drop the character within a week or so, please don't apply.

I strongly suggest that you treat this as a main. If you AFK, I will cry uncontrollably.

- Something memorable.

This is intended to be a real character! Not merely an EC to be thrown away, or only whipped out for war fights.

- Fun.

If you do not enjoy yourself, I will die.

In most technical terms, you're an advanced Synthetic, after all.

Even if you happen to be, y'know, powered by a forsaken soul and a massive patchwork of essence and stolen memories.

- Synthetic Racials

Again, you are a Synthetic, in most respects.

- Occult Tome

You were made by a Witch firmly off the deep end, wrapped in a bunch of scary rituals, and your consciousness was placed into your modified Synthetic core through the will of the Dark Lord.

It would be pretty weird if you weren't biased towards the Occult.

- A Fresh Arsenal
That Witch who made you? She's also a T1 Artificer with a massive stockpile of whatever ore you might possibly want, unless it's Arcanium. Her Arcanium supply was spent constructing you. Oh, and two thousand energy. Runes are free. You'll be supported in whatever path in life you so choose. There's also plenty of cash sitting around to buy perms, if you need them.

- Incredible Customization Options

The name and physical description, for the most part, are just about up to you. You can use more or less whatever PB you'd like.
