I don't remember the format, I don't care to remember the format, however, what Blox does is an artform taken shape in this pixelated world that we all might spend a little too much time within. The monkey's they're trivial, but the sprites are adorable, they move - they talk and have minor personalities, the event includes the entire map and causes foot traffic - it makes the game feel alive in an amusing light-hearted way as it pries us all away from our places of frequenting.

having fought all three of today's monkeys

each monkey was unique, not just in personality, but in how they had to be dealt with. actually wrangling the monkey was different each time (starting with a game of hide and seek and ending with a game of advanced tag), and each fight had a specific and unique feel to it flavored around the theme of the monkey (all of who had specific music picked, too). all fights were difficult (especially that occultic monkey, who was terrifying), which i enjoyed a lot; we were downed, we were injuried, we didn't always win the RPB. i always had fun, however.

it's a lot of effort put into such a lighthearted and fun thing, it's been a genuine treat to participate in

I didn't really do the monkey event but i got glimpses of it.  I had no idea what was going on and that somewhat kept me from getting involved but to be perfectly honest that was only because I was preoccupied with other scenes.  It looked like alot of fun though based on past events from him.  For one it was done during one of the most dead times of the game and it laster HOURS giving tons of people something to do during the "Stand around and stare at walls" time period before the game is really active.

That side in the last even I did with him there was always some little catch or secret or gimmick to the fight that made it a little more interesting.  For example a pair of ogre twins that also attacked each other at times and would stop killing your friend to target you if you stopped moving for a moment to say something mean about them!  There was one that when he did certain things you had to get TF AWAY FROM HIM or else and another where as soone as the effect popped up ONE player in the party had to completely stop moving or have their health shredded while the others tried to fight the boss by themselves forawhile

It makes for interesting and more fun events than "Run to location.  Type 2 rps and 3 white texts.  Now verb and get your loot and leave"

Having fought my second monkey, all I can do is incoherently scream with excitement and fear. I just noticed a theme about all the monkeys and the clues and the themes of each monkey. I see you...I see what you're doing, and I fucking love it so much. Keep it up but AAAAAA.

Seriously though. That was way too much fun and the effort going into it is amazing. Love you blox, an amazing dm by far

monkeys make me happy. i'm not even far into my first monkey related event, but i'm already a little sad i missed the earlier ones. this rocks. i love monkeys

I loooooooooove the monkey events, super excited I got to participate. Last couple days I haven't been feeling well so I missed the other monkeys, but I hope there will be more in the future. Monkeys ROCK!!!! Blox rocks!!! <33333333333333
