An official declaration of war

1805AC

Quote:
Varceal Vartuul and the Dragon Lords: "Osrona, heed my words carefully, although I agree that this attack on your archmagi was a grave tragedy but it was not without your lies and doubtful ways that it was called for, I gave you a choice in that cell one that would undoubtedly bring peace between us - instead you killed my brother in his cell and made me watch like the cruel beings you are... and with his death, I will rain Hel upon you and all of the people who support you."

The bloodshed will not stopped but I am not a man without reason, and the people behind me will see that I am sated with these commands.

Dezmond Graves : "Lannis Grimmore will be new Archmagi of Osrona, Murtock Reave and the deep company its militia. To those who live within Osrona and feel the rage we have for our fallen brother, you have two choices, relocate, seek refuge with the Fireblooded, The Moxtli Tribes, The Grimmore Manor, or the The Deep Company. The second choice is to remain within the walls and hope for the best when we come to arms for the siege on the walls. May your choice be in the best interest of your livelihood and your families. The worst leader is the one that makes rash decisions without the people in mind."

"... I see. I should address the people?"

Quote:
"... I speak to you as nothing more than a humble servant. I heed your cries and anguish as sorrow and fear consume your hearts. Citizens and Knights of Osrona, heroes and warriors which have fought against tides of demon and machine? I beseech you and plead you listen to my voice.

I, Lannis Grimmore. Chosen of Antares and pure to my blood now ask you look upon those which lead you, those which have turned all of Esshar against them due to their actions built on prejudice and greed. You who have toiled and suffered so much, being forced into that same position once more.

Yet... You need not suffer. I promise you need not suffer as your leaders and Council would have you so believe. Moxtli and all her allies, even those pirates which roam the seas? All would see your suffering ended should you give yourselves back to one such as me.

There... Will ever be consequences that much is assured. The Pelleaux which puppet your people and The Church which bend to their existence would be eradicated through my will. You'd no longer be controlled in the shadows by those which proclaim themselves your equals whilst lofting their blood to heights never before reached.

Nobility such as The Pelleaux need not exist.

I promise you all, your pain and suffering can cease with a single breath.

Follow, Osrona. Follow in my Crimson Light.

And... Even you can rise into The Cosmos with me once more. You can see our Shimmering City bathe beneath my star, so it may never be drowned out by greed and inept councilmen again.

The Grimmore name wishes only the best for Osrona and her people.

You need only push back. Push back against this council which would lead you to demise."

A fallen brother, denied honor..

Returns to the warm embrace of his god..

And the words uttered in hallowed halls..

Grow into a deafening cry on the field of battle..

We will show you justice in a sea of blue blood.

The Deep Company's influence has grown drastically since they first crash-landed onto the shore of Esshar and now with The Fireblooded, Grimmore, and Moxtli resources behind them a sizable naval force is amassing prepared to turn its ire upon The Shimmering City.

To take by force what has been demanded if denied.

To Reave.

"I don't like public addresses, but Varceal won't stop asking me to say something..."

Quote:
"I told Vion, and I told the what I predicted to come in the coming years. That Osrona will be plunged into darkness from the inside out. That 'heroes' will take the facades off and show their true intentions. I believed the words of the Pelleaux, but that was probably one of my many follies.

… for who believes the words of nobility that are nothing but pale imitations of of an archaic system that works on the circumference of divine right?

How many times must Osrona be reconstructed in the image of another, before they learn to keep their mouth shut and their vision heading into the right direction? How much darkness must remain inside of their own walls before the true shine of the cosmos can sparkle down?

How many times will they keep the witches within their walls, while playing about with the ideas of hunting them down?

In recorded history, you have played with the ideas of witches, being manipulated by them, marrying them. Your radiants, once manipulated and used by them. Your king betrayed and used by them. The reputation between nobility and witches is uncanny.

I'd go even further to assume the position that your leaders have connections with the supreme herself.

I, however, do not aim to have the Felcloaks to start moving forward with assault, but if they dare tally up that mountain with their forces and their idea of goodness, leave not a single breath from them.

Take from them, what they took from the Older Brother. A life for a life. You know what they want.

Give it to them. ~ Vesper, Leader of the Felcloaks.

"Animosity means animosity, period."

Quote:
Pardon for the wait. During harsh times, maintaining our stance recondite can mayhaps confuse collaborators and adversaries. So let me be loud and clear.

Achyon is never allying with the Moxtli, Osrona or Lannis Grimmore. No matter the circumstances.

Even if a gun is juxtaposed to the epicenter of my forehead; those fetid defilers will never be considered something other than antagonists to Achyon. This decision is incontrovertible, irrevocable and final. Under this bias, our nation has faced a dilemma: we will never altercate alongside the Moxtli, so fighting Osrona is not feasible. The same principle in evidence is enforced regarding defending Osrona to oppose the tribesmen, because the Empire can never be side-to-side with Osrona; our destiny is to be above them.

Thus, our military will be storming the Moxtli whilst they utilize their efforts to battle Osrona. We will not be aiding the knights in any form - we are merely abusing of the created setting. Our anthropocentrism has always served under reason, and this is the optimal outcome.

However. Achyon has no compuctions with the Fireblooded nor The Deep Company. In fact, they are extremely fond of them. I send my regards to Varceal and Murtock, and should they drop their allegiances with the tribesmen and Lannis Grimmore, all of our forces will be aiding your city-states, aiming to further increase our economical and military relations and, of course, agglutinating against the Second Dawn.

This document epitomizes our intentions, Esshar. Our chess table is swarming. A few pieces need to go.

Don Docro
