Key/Character: Suzuna Hino
Which Event: The Deserted Sun Desert Shrine
Responsiveness: 10. Decently quick responses without being short of detail or receptiveness to the decisions the party did!

Balance: 10. Was willing to nerf or buff according to our RPL/lackthereof players who couldn't attend (we all did thankfully, but he mentioned it and I really appreciate it) HOOOOLY SHIT It was tough but fun to do! I was screaming irl when trying to evade and dodge fire spells where I could. Those Powersmashes were crazy are well.

Storytelling: 10. He really took my request for a Grey Philosopher to heart! ICLY and oocly Suzuna and I were suprised that the mid-boss was not the kannushi but a piece of them?! I am still floored how many bosses this man can cram into one even.

It started off nice and slow with the Stinnox before progressively getting more difficult up to the spirit. I did not fall by the grace of god but holy fuck did I come close. I was surprised it was me that would deal the finishing blow.

Fairness: 10. Saw the injury table so I knew what I was in for!

Overall: It was a HCoI but mans made us WORK for our meal. Definitely will take the temps to heart and reflect on my soft pliable stats. Will stuff 'za in Suzu's mouth before another event with this mans.

Final Note: The roll gods were not in my favor that day. Or anyone's, but I got some heccin neat stuff and temps like I wanted. Thanks Mal.

P.S. it's real

Which Event: You Ride a What Now?
Responsiveness: 10, fast as all hell and honestly, it was great!

Balance: 10, the balance was wild but honestly I can look past it because I'm built like a ford truck made of vibranium so...

Storytelling: 10, to be honest, I didn't go into this expecting to actually want to do a second part of this kind of event but...yeah no I do. The story was interesting and its been left open FOR a part 2.

Fairness: This was a fair one really, like if we got too messed up he made sure to tone it down and when he realized we were a bit smaller than we could have been, he adjusted. 10/10

Overall: I honestly enjoyed it and the commentary between fights and such were fun and engaging. The dialogue with the boss was especially hilarious. 10/10

Final Note: Would run blades with more Stinnox Riders any day.

Responsiveness: 10, We were never waiting very long for any sort of narration icly and oocly very accommodating and helpful

Balance: 10, I personally enjoyed it. The fights were fun and slamming back waves of Stinnox Riders was very fun.

Storytelling: 10, I didn't ask for much and got more then I expected. I can't believe that guy has a son.

Fairness: 10, There wasn't anything involved that I would say was really unfair. Some of those rounds were tough, but thats to be expected really.

Overall:  10/10, I'm prepared to call his son a Mungo too now

Which Event: The Beginning, and The End

Responsiveness: 10/10
Very good balance between off-time and go-time! Good breathing room while also continuing the pace!

Balance: 10/10
Considering the weight of the fights we had to do, I think the balance was very correct for them in particular.
They were obstacles in the course of our destination, and we took them.

Storytelling: 10/10
A very, very good story. Well thought-out, and not only did it bring the specific members together imo with some silliness and serious moments both - it offered clarity and another path line for a few characters.

Fairness: 10/10
Yes!! The rewards were well worth it; interesting dev items as well as full on character dev.

Overall: 10000/10
mal events are very pog for story based stuff for REAL

Any other comments:
idair has finally learned the concept of mercy. also mysterious man is the best character and something was really funny about idair of all people having philosophical debates with an angry wolf

Character:  Kostus
Event: What IS that?!

Responsiveness: Always incredibly quick. Was never waiting for too long, the narrates were swift and kept the pace of the event constantly going. There was never a real waiting moment, and if there was it was never long.  10/10

Balance:  The challenge was perfect. It was hard, but not unbearable. Attacks were diverse, and either easily avoidable, but if you weren't carefully you'd easily be taken down. You had to constantly be aware and skillful. They had specific rotations, and the positioning in which the attacks were set off were in parts that made it incredibly dangerous, but also very manageable with having rooms of safety. 10/10

Storytelling:  Absolutely amazing. Actually incredible. I dare say this was the most entertaining, engaging story I've had with any event I've been on so far. There was setup, and pay off. A slow, ever building story with multiple sections. It wasn't a checklist of bosses, every boss had reason. Everything connected to make an overall story. It was disturbing , and genuinely made me feel uncomfortable. It was tragic, and it evoked feelings of dread and legitimate sadness. The first section gave the eerie feeling of something amiss. Something wrong, and with each altercation and conversation with Npcs built up what was to come. What came, being a dreadfully sad, twisted story that legitimately made me feel awful. In a good way. It could've ended there, and I would've been satisfied, but the next boss cemented the ending of this beautiful event. Fighting the big bad that was the sole reason for all the awful things happening within the story, and made for though triumphant, a bittersweet ending. We were even given the chance to have IC of power based around the tragedy surrounding the event. It made it all the more impactful. Everything culminated in a wonderfully toned event. It never faltered, consistently foreboding and tragic.  The pacing was always on-point. Even during the downtimes of when we were Rping, white texts were included by the characters we interacted with to give more context, and to continue piling upon the tragedy that was at play. It added that extra spice that, I really appreciated. It gave these bosses more life. 20/10

Fairness:  Basically what I said in balance.  It was very fair, and never felt as though we were being cheated. 10/10

Overall: Yeah... probably the most fun and engaged I've been on with an event. It lasted like 9-10hrs. Didn't even feel like it. It was that fun and entertaining. The story was incredible, fights were fun. Overall? Fantastic. It was a gut-punch of an event that left me sad even after it was over. It heavily impacted my character, and my expectations for events period. 10/10

Final note: I'm still sad

Which Event:
What IS that?!

Responsiveness:
10.

Honestly while event take around few hours, every narrate was fast and very detailed. On point too.

Balance:
10.

With how unique the challenges was... I would say balancing was perfect. It not only push into corner in any way possible but there was also emotional challenge into it as well.

Storytelling:
10.

So.. I actually gotta talk about storytelling quite a bit here because it was on point. Very well detailed story, characters was well written too.

With each act, it become a lot more intense. Played with our emotions and even scared us quite a bit with each step. During the first arc, I thought it would be move on a concept of 'Abomination hunting' type of deal but.. the moment I seen the interactive 1v 1 fight one of us go through and getting ambushed on the spot right after that. My thoughts instantly changed and shifted away from that very idea.

Though that was just the begining on how things will proceed. With each character we faced and talked to story become a lot more connected. Everything starts to make more and more sense before finally a big twist revealed in the end.

It was that good. Truly brilliant.

I must say, this was best story I experienced on a event before.

Fairness:
10.

I never felt cheated once. Everything was balanced either that would be the battles we faced or simply the rewards we received. It was quite nice. I also personally enjoy the debuff system that was on the event. That effected a very spesific stat with the fluff of mutation. Quite fun.

Overall:

I think this is probably the best event I ever been. If you guys need a DM , Pick this guy.

Key/Character: Madri/Raenesa
Which Event: What IS That?!

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): 10/10 - The narrations were posted within a reasonable timeframe, almost every time we were done having completed an action, or causing something to happen, there was only mere moments before a narration was posted, making things quick and efficient. In terms of responses, they were wonderfully detailed and quickly done, things felt reactive, and were put out extremely quick. This made things feel prepared, coordinated, and helped the entire event flow at a fast pace.

Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): 10/10 - The battles were extremely entertaining, it felt as though each of our kits were looked at to prescribe a proper challenge. When things were too easy? They were tuned upwards, and when things were harder, avenues to weaken our enemy were offered through roleplay. These were some of the most fun EC's to fight, and the varied kits they held offered plenty of challenges throughout the event. In terms of obstacles, the riddle at the beginning of the Lab was thought provoking, and a fun way to set the pace for the event, with a more melancholy, suggestive riddle, it was only the beginning, and was used as a device for great storytelling.

Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): 10/10 - In terms of storytelling, the event was amazing. As we entered, we were immediately plunged into the feeling that we were being watched, driving the party to investigate further, and cause caution. The signs on the horizon which we were given in terms of figures moving about, of running into strange creatures outside, all served to create suspense, and provide a measure of challenge for the group before really delving in, allowing us to understand what we were getting into. The general atmosphere for the lab which was crafted served to really drive home the horror themes, leading to further worry, and excitement from the group as a whole, with vivid description, and perfect imagery given to hook us in.

Each mini-boss seemed to have a purpose as a whole, starting off with "Patrick" which served as an amalgamation of three children, stolen from Delphina and experimented upon. Rather than feeling as if we were fighting some evil force, it was a heavy battle, upon which we fought to give our enemy mercy, rather than put them down. It set a somber tone, highlighting the brutality of the lab, and intertwining with the backstory of Raenesa (Me!) having been Queen of Delphina for a time. It was an engaging first challenge, which captured our attention and only made us wish to go deeper.

The subtle descriptions of the room being destroyed as we fought, leading to the floor collapsing as we defeated the enemy was a great touch, and served to smoothly shepard us along to the next part of the story which began Act: 2! The setting which you created was amazing, helping us to feel a sudden surprise and dread as we faced a fearful enemy. The description used really helped highlight how grotesque the creature was, and the jovial nature contrasted the serious tones, not disrupting the atmosphere, but actually ADDING to how creepy the boss was. After having been defeated we were then led to Act: 3!

Doctor Vesper served as the perfect 'Big Bad' pulling out sudden reveals for other characters in the group, and holding an air of arrogance and strength. The most amazing storytelling happened after we had believed we defeated him, only for him to grow into a fearful, large beast, overwhelming the group. We then tapped into powers, at the cost of our vitality, making our choices feel weighty, and not too punishing, but also feeding into the story further, such power being derived from the souls lost in the lab. The fight itself was amazing, and the atmosphere was perfectly crafted for the apex of this event.

Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?) 10/10 - The fights, and the roleplay felt plenty fair, we were often given clues, or able to weaken enemies through creative means. Things were adjusted in order to pose a challenge, but still be winnable. The risks taken were rewarded perfectly, and no one felt helpless mechanically throughout the fights, while still remaining engaging.

Overall: 10/10 - Thank you for my first event!

Any other comments: You asked for descriptive, I gave descriptive <3

Character: Galland Silvanas

Which Event: What IS that?!

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): The responsiveness of Mal's narration's were excellent and swift. Not long after everyone would post their RP, they would consider what was written among the group, each leading to a cohesive story even with our inclusions. Top tier. Especially for how long it went on, he did great! 10/10

Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): The scariest and funnest parts most certainly. Each battle had a good sense of balance to it, there were moments were the desperation of the situation, mixed with the dread and feel there should be for it. The way the fights were set up and paced ensuring such exact feelings at times among the group. But there were ways we could overcome these difficulties, overall they may have had great power but way to get past such if we were crafty! 10/10!

Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): This was of course, the greatest part of it all.

The story hit in many ways that I loved, notes that personally related to Galland in a way that shaped his characters story even beyond the event.

The beginning of the tale began with the foreboding threat to be, encountering a solo battle initially, then being ambushed. It was a great start and the flavour's that followed after only added to the overall spook, even as Galland examined and took a small sample of the first 'thing'. When we encountered the trio at the campsite, and delved in with a little more information did it really give insight to the wild story to come. This was no simple monster hunt.

Upon entering the second act, we encountered a really neat puzzle, one we could investigate and really scratch our heads over for a moment. Luckily, we managed to solve it in time before the ominous ticking came to an end... Whatever it would have brought.

With the mind games that followed, and hearing of the actual atrocities committed by the Villain(s), it further committed the group to the mission at hand. Tugged at heart strings and really made the characters feel for those they had to unfortunately face. Following our merciful act upon that poor boy, Patrick- we encountered the second boss.

A really cool feature followed as the DM really melded the story with our actions, giving us an opportunity to gain a little bit of an upper hand and really get the most out of every situation we could.

It was the third act that really wrapped the whole thing up, ending in a great and satisfying end. Not only did Galland meet his match and then some, it brought up matters relating to his missing father, giving flavour to some personally related matters that could be further delved into. Dr. Vesper was a scary man, and gaining vengeance for the children and his kin was all he aimed for then. The boon was a really cool addition, allowing us to even the playing field against a deadly foe.

Especially when Vesper really revealed his true strength and greater command of bloodmancy compared to Galland. But the vengeful spirits let him equalize the fight, at a cost! One which was really cool to work with. The entire fight was really cool, made me stress out and sweat but work my damned hardest to help everyone reach victory!

Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?)

Yes, the fairness of it all was quite perfect. The rewards we obtained were tailored quite excellently to the overall story and theme, the injuries received from all the fights and poor rolls are great, and a nicely tailed final injury was the cherry on top of it all. Loved the item that I got, it was great fun! 10/10

Overall: 10/10! Just perfect.

Any other comments: Mal's an amazing storyteller and a great DM. The event carried on at a great pace, surprised for how much time passed yet it didn't feel like it dragged at all. I loved every second of it, and it really made me try to think of different ways to go about things- where I could.

Thank you so much for running this! It was a blast!

Which Event: What is that?!

Responsiveness: The Narrations were pretty quick by themselves, albeit the quest took a pretty long time to wrap up nonetheless, given how much stuff was going down!.. But that was mostly due to my sleep-deprived state through it.

Balance: The Battles were crazy, but given the setting and what was going on, certain aspects of it made sense, Some of the fights where even thematic to certain elements of the story-telling, such as the roof collapsing atop our heads and our squad leader getting expeditiously assed out as he challenged the big bad on a one-on-one.

Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): It was a pretty great adventure, with multiple elements and even stages to it, also certain decisions made at the beginning affected the outcome of our expedition in more than one way.

Fairness: We were duly rewarded for our efforts, And the injuries we suffered matched the rewards received exceedingly, I didn't feel for a second that my efforts had come unrewarded.

Overall: In essence, assisting an event of this quality, If something I would do any day, even if there aren't any rewards tied to it, if at all.
10/10

Any other comments: Patrick, Ksena and Nadia were Avenged, all is well.
