Responsiveness: 10/10 - Narrations were posted promptly and responses were swift.

Which Event: Year 5, Trial of Self

Responsiveness: 10/10 - Very fast responses!
Balance: 10/10 - Ice talon spam was scary. Also I didn't know occult AoE did that much....
Storytelling: 11/10 - Much much much much more detailed than I was expecting, and allowed us to do what we wanted freely with our actions being reflected further on.
Fairness: 10/10 - The quizzes were fun. I enjoyed watching everyone else suffer.

Overall: 11/10

Additional Comments: Will beg Ryou to run my events

Key/Character: Erelaehiem
Which Event: Fortification Under His Reign

Responsiveness: 10/10 - The things our group did and said when interacting with ECs or making plans were zany and spontaneous, yet Ryou was always swift to take that and pump out a narration which addressed what everyone did perfectly (he even remembered details from several posts prior, which influenced future narrations - one of which included a minor action I forgot I had even done...).

Balance: 10/10 - Each round got harder and harder, until the point I made an underestimation in which I instantly perished .

Storytelling: 12/10 - Ties in with responsiveness. We were having a field day interacting with all of the ECs (especially me, since I was the only one who could pass Charisma checks--) and getting immersed in the lore he'd fleshed out for Sanessa, which was more than I expected to learn before the event. I secretly wished to visit Opera Oak

Fairness: 10/10 I feel like the punishments were equivalent to the risks and rewards, everything was earned in proportion to each other. Even the punishments were well thought out and likely added depth and developments to each character to receive them.

Overall: 11/10 - I must participate in another Ryou event in the future.

Key/Character: Jaherr Valkynia
Which Event: Autumn and Heir-Luminary Celebration
Responsiveness : Great! Considering it was crowded a bit and RyOu handled it well, responding and all.
Balance : It wasn't much of a action-driven event until the latter part, which was unexpected. Game wise in distributing the clues and questionaires? they were splendid.
Storytelling: It was great, even greater as she carried on the unexpected to the end.
Fairness: Fairest as it can be, considering most of the games were of the birth-person.
Overall: 10/10 would see a bear jump out of a cake again.

Any other comments: I woke up early for this and rushed for a gift. Thomas made me envious... of their gift.

Open, but if I am interested I would have already asked about running your event (no requests please). Small parties preferred and I don't not believe in isolated pinata loot parties. The reward is the story written. Very specific on theme preference. Guaranteed 10-12 hour +.

Character: Nix Bargiel
Event: Exaltation

20 hours of runtime total... 20 hours..........

The best part is that even after those 20 hours, there was still a ton to write about. Even if it was 11AM in a new day, in the second day that we were running this event... I still had the motivation and willingness to write one of my biggest posts in Eternia. And guess what! I was not even the main focus, or the ''main character'' of the event. It just goes to show how much Ryou as a DM cares about your individual character beliefs and choices, and how much they think things through.

There were a ton of weighty decisions that could absolutely change the outcome of this event one way or another, and it did not feel railroaded. It truly allowed us to immerse in the world/realm of the event and go along with the flow, it was just... What an adventure should feel like! It was so nice and despite the length? I would repeat it any day or any time, well... maybe after a week of rest because I have never felt so alive/tense on an event before this one.

The rewards might have not been huge (item wise), but the IC and lore development that the event brought is just insane. Really opened up new character arcs for each participant to further develop in their future, should they wish to.

This TRULY felt like a High Chance of Death, two out of four characters were rolling for 33% chance of death and only survived out of sheer luck at the very end. We could have died any moment or any time, and PHEW...

Just PHEW... the story of this event was both amazing and character changing. I kneel.

Which Event: Exaltation

Responsiveness: 10/10 - For a 15? 20?+ hour event, the quality of rp never dropped, and the posts were always detailed and fast.
Balance: 10/10 - Aside from my PC being unable to handle multiple scattershots at once… the fight was done faithfully following patterns even when at low hp, and despite that, half our team or more were always ko’d at the end. I don’t think the fight could have been fairer! The stat rolls (fortune, charisma, wisdom) were all things that were possible to roll as well, which made it much more fun.
Storytelling: 12/10 - This wasn’t even my event, but it felt like it was. I walked away with nothing but a 15 vit perm, and I can still say it was one of the most enjoyable events I’ve participated in since I first started playing.
Fairness: 10/10 - No handholding on figuring things out, but with enough clues strewn about that if we were paying attention, we could solve things. Also playing chess was very fun.
I was one down away from rolling death with 1/3 odds, and was even beginning to brainstorm how to rp it. HCoD that really felt like a HCoD.

Overall: 15? 20?+/10

Additional Comments: Will beg Ryou to run my events x2

Key/Character: Vyyn / Iaxel the Shadow

Which Event: Exaltation

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): 10+/10 Yes! To reiterate as the others said, it was a long and detailed journey! 20 - 24 hours spanned between two days!

Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): Perfect! 10/10. The challenge was very much appropriate for the goal that was trying to be obtained. Each 'phase' had their own mystery or puzzle to solve, not only that but a WHOLE chess game! That was AWESOME! The stakes were high, the risks and injuries well worth it!

Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): Going back to the Balance part, absolutely! 10/10 story telling, it was finely crafted and detailed. Each narration gave us a full and clear picture of what we were dealing with, even if sometimes we didn't get it right away! It invoked a lot of thought, and planning!

Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?) 10/10 Yep! Even if I nearly died in the end, considering what we were facing in the end, it was to expectation! Challenging with methods to overcome them, should one pay attention and be quick!

Overall: S tier DM right here folks! Amazing work Ry0!

Any other comments: Can't wait for the next adventure I get to be apart of!

Key/Character: Lyco Corbin
Which Event: Exalation

Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?):
-With the event being over 20 hours! (wow!) They did extremely well in how fast their narrations were. Extremely well done as well, there wasn't many of us but we were constantly writing walls upon walls of content that they equally was able to react to in a timely manner. Everyone felt involved and everyone had their moment in the shining story.

[10/10]

Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?):
-It was as balanced as it could be! They weren't holding your hand and for someone who feels silly. I was stressed out when it came to the logic puzzles because there was hints, and there was these fine amazing story hooks. The final battle was also fun, I loath the little light orb tricks, the only thing I'd ask to chance would be the Scattershot in the corners!

[9/10]

Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?):
-Everytime I go on an Ryo event I know it's not about the items, even in some I know that you cannot even get some because that's how they run their events. The story is what matters, while we didn't really get items (save for myself) the IC implications that will affect these characters moving forward is insanely high. Well worth the story.

[10/10]

Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?)
-As I said, this was not a hold your hand sort of mission. There was risks of death. I nearly died by one roll- my death saving throw was a 3, death was 2. Heck the whole reason why this review is so late is because I've been so tired from all of the world building they did! The stress of death does some messed up things too, but it was very fun.

[10/10]

Overall:
-Please stop trying to kill me/10

10/10 DM if you can get them to DM you will not regret it.
