Which Event: archeology fieldtrip to the ruined temple
Responsiveness: i am patient with ry, especially considering they had an entire portion where they focused upon each attendee with something that deserved focus on (8 attendees by the way, wild stuff). its understandable and was swift despite all that!
Balance: the one fight was hurty. i think the challenge was tuning it for the varying rpls the attendees had (which i know is a struggle) and despite that they put up an entertaining fight! (even though my fingers ached by the final rounds, but im also just easily put in pain)
Storytelling: oh god see my previous review on this thread. though i went on a different character, the whimsy and utter historical context of the game was always a treat to read through and learn as someone who didnt play during the first time skip.
Fairness: pretty fair! for an event that relied more on exploration, the injuries were understandable (and fun to rp, cant believe i got to write huitzilopochtli in my rps again)
Overall: 10/10
Any other comments: there were no shadow doors this time, so my score is higher

Key/Character: Fushichou/ Violet Vartuul
Which Event: Archaeology's Field Trip into the Jungle.
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Very responsive, as usual. Answered any questions we had and clarified things if needed!
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): We only had one battle but it was a doozy. There were 8 of us and 2 ECs. Painful. But necessary.
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): The storytelling was on point; it described past dead characters and included items that fit with that particular character. Very good. It was really nice to see the narrates describing a whole cluster of different characters like Pericles, Elijah, Anabelle, Del, etc.
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): It seemed incredibly fair, and Ry tried to ensure everyone left with at least one item as opposed to one person stacking items. Very good.
Overall: 10/10

Which Event: Holy Lands
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): 10/10 Some posts did take a bit, but given the contents and everything that was happening I believe it was warranted. Always appreciate the effort they put into each post.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): 10/10 The fight we had was fun. wish we got to do the other one but thats not the dms fault.
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): 15/10 I wish we all were able to pay attention more and pick up on the little things that were thrown in there that we missed. And the bigger things too that were just glossed over because ... yeah.
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): Very fair all things considered. I dont think anyone that received an injury was really upset with it, and the rewards were nice.
Overall: Sleep is for the Weak(10)/10
Any other comments: I'd like to note that I was prepared for a long ass event at least.... Had a great time regardless <3

Key/Character: Valeria ven Pelleaux
Which Event: The Holy Land
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Each response was well thought out, so it took some time. However every narration had depth to it and purpose, giving us information and details we might have otherwise missed.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): 10/10 The fight was great! I really liked how everything was choice based, and there were punishments for stupid behavior. Like throwing yourself at a raging demon - I'm lookin' at you, Jericho...
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): 10/10 This was honestly my favorite part about this event. It was heavily lore based, and I myself learned quite a few things I otherwise hadn't known previously. It was informative and very fun and exciting. It was super fun to take Valeria to a new place to complete her own little 'mission' of faith. Great story telling and I am so appreciative of the well thought out lore and information! <3
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): More than fair with punishments and rewards. Injuries were given to people who made bad decisions - clear ones, at that.
Overall: 10/10
I was seeking an event to help Valeria grow more in her faith, and that's exactly what I got. It was long and ran late but it was SO worth it - and every moment was super engaging and enjoyable! Will definitely request again, I appreciate you <3 We will make sure to run it earlier next time, haha!

Key/Character: Rhesus DeLaurentis.
Which Event: Holy Lands
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): 9/10 Posts felt smooth enough given what they were. Longer ones took a tad bit longer than others, but nothing unreasonable.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): 10/10 Balanced as can be, seriously.
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): 10/10. Avenues to take, and a cohesive plot that was easy to undertand and respond to. It was a healthy storyline that gave everybody a chance to shine in one way or the other. Too bad we were all so tired to finish.
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): Super heavy lore-based items that are thematic in a pretty normal dungeon run as this is always something I can appreciate, and Ry is one of the few DMs that really know how to put flavor and depth to the stuff that was created. 10/10.
Overall: Tired. Let's do it again some other time.

Key/Character: InThePooPoo/Cortado
Event: The Holy Land
Responsiveness: Good, but sometimes drawn out. 8/10
Balance: Excellent, no complaints whatsoever. 10/10
Storytelling: Wonderful narrations, detailed and with plenty of choices and branching paths. The only complaint I have is a personal gripe with events that have too many branches and miss-able pieces to them. It seemed very obscure to me, the way the event was laid out, and what we should have done. I think that was part of the reason the event took so long. Either way, it was still very strong and solid. 9/10
Fairness: I'm sure it's due to how tired I was, but it really didn't seem clear when there was a potential for a reward. I basically took an injury for an innocuous decision (picking a flower), and didn't receive much encouragement to continue on with what I was doing. This was the only thing that really stood out to me that could be improved upon - and for the most part, every other encounter made sense and was very clear. Still, though, I'll need to dock a few points for that, just because my monkey brain couldn't handle it. 7/10
Overall: 8/10 - and the -2 is only due to my own personal gripes. Fantastic DM from objective standards.

Event: The search for 'Something'
Responsiveness: Good! 11/10
Storytelling: The narrations were nice, the history was fun. I liked the idea of exploration and the rolls. It was very nice and my first even with Ryou as DM.
Fairness: PLOP DOWN HOW MANY DESECRATED LANDS YOU WANT! I'LL ALWAYS PUT MY BEAUTIFUL YGGDRASIL IN THE MIDDLE AND PROFIT 11/10 WOULD WATCH MY TREE BE JAVELIN'ED AWAY AGAIN.
Overall: 11/10 Would search for something again.

Which Event: The Search for 'Something'
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): 10/10 the responses were quick and fast pace in comparison to our own. At some points, I feel like I took the longest out of it.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): 9/10 the options and choices along the way were perfect for everything, especially the new lore bits we gained.
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): 10/10 Underwater story about a sirenian clan? Sign me up again for it.
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?) 8/10 honestly? Punishments aside as those were earned when we did dumb things, the fairness was great overall in all honesty.
Overall: 9.5/10 More story telling events like this please I enjoyed the hell out of it.

Which Event: The Search for 'Something'
Responsiveness: 10/10 They were quick, while we weren't as quick, rip.
Balance: 9/10 Some of us were just cursed with bad rolls and some lag spikes, making fights + traps a bit more painful.
Storytelling: 10/10 Exactly what I wanted and more, because I hardly knew what I wanted and gave a VERY open ended event idea.
Fairness: 10/10
Overall: I enjoyed it a lot, it wasn't constant hacknslash, some good af story that pushes my chars goals in a direction.

Hello, hello! I thought I'd expand this a bit since I'm someone who likes to run very particular events. They center around themes and story types I'm most comfortable with such as anything pertaining to witchcraft, Celestialism, and more traditional Barsburg IC. I'm also an Expedition DM. I like lore and something serious opposed to a one and done thing (or a lighthearted premise). If you just want dev items then I'm likely not the DM for you! I pay a stupid amount of attention to stupid details. Any event I run will last, at minimum, six hours. I don't make the rules, that's how it's been for them all.
Currently, I'm not trying to take on any events...! If I have multiple events under my belt then they will never get ran. I get motivation slow and write plans even slower! But, I'm doing my best. I will, of course, run an event outside of my three comfort themes. Though there needs to be meat and potatoes in your request, some nice story and ability for me to expand upon existing lore and introduce more.
tldr pls be patient my fingers and brain move slow...
