Territorial Claim [Aetius vs Altharim]

On foot, bands of fighting men and women set out from boundaries of Aetius. The crossing to reach the base of the peninsula is brief, where tents rise like stalagmites from the earth. A force unyielding and patient, as the task of Aetius has refined this fighting force to be. Altharim, a long standing stretch of black and gold, homes raised in the name of cause of freedom now bare once more challenge and grave danger to their livelihoods.

In this movement, no letter nor missive need be read aloud, for the message is plain as day.
Regardless, and in the name of courtesy in warfare, a missive reaches the settlement- conveyed aloud by couriers:

"By decree of acting Field Commander, Nymeris, Archmagos of Guardianship and to the King of Altharim:

Your settlement, once-before a mere neighbor, is now observed as a dangerous blockade between Aetius and the mainland. A thread now know through magnification by the attempted occupation of mercenaries- and the extraordinarily risky action taken to deal with it. As this settlement, for years now, has acted as a blockade between us and the mainland, we have decided upon our swift and abrupt ultimatum. Today, you're not a threat, however, tomorrow may angle the sword you bear toward us- and you are ever in striking distance.

This course of action has been weighted and agreed upon by two other Archmagos.

Thus, allow these words to be your only notice with utmost clarity:
You're under siege."

Siege & Conquer the Settlement of Altharim. 
(This course will forcibly NPC the settlement and claim the area for Aetius.)

Months Past and No reply was given to the Couriers that spoke their leaders message. Instead it was met with Silence. No word or show of anything changing inside the nation.  Then suddenly stations were taken battlements prepared as the army of Altharim showed its teeth finally. They had prepared and came ready to defend their home using the silence as a mask to prepare in quiet. The moment was nearing and soon the city would be defended by its people till the bitter end.

(P.S. - I thought i already replied to this. Turns out. It never posted so we get a much more shortened and simple one.)

As the couriers deliver letters- many of Altharim spoke in silence Yet one woman came to show

A kitsune in a simple white dress but yet as the time draws near suddenly something can be felt a strange ominous feeling

The air felt heavier and heavier, some claim they see eyes in the darkest reaches of the woods as they get closer to Altharim

Yet Its truly unknown what is causing this feeling of unease, Some shrug it off.. yet some get worried

The plants grow restless- some flora acting differently than normal, some animals flee from Altharim
