Your Father/Creator Nox Fallax,was created by mistake. A fluke that no one knew would take form. A ceremony in the shadowlands was held by the coven of Oneiros. It was an attempt to break the divine barrier that trapped the Marquis in the nightmare realm for eternity. And it would fail horribly.

Some of the coven members would end up dying during this ritual from the backlash of the barrier. The divine soul of Lyrienne, the first born of Enarr which powered the barrier still held unfathomable power. The barrier was stretched thin from their conjoined attempt. The Marquis and it's nightmare demons within, and the numerous witches using their profane arts from the outside. However even together they fell short of shattering the barrier. And in the end it was written off as a failure.

No one was aware that it stretched thin enough for a creature of darkness to slip through the cracks. It was a small and shapeless lesser nightmare demon. Nearly the size of a wisp. Over countless years the Coven eventually faded into history. And no more would be heard of it.

However, the dark nightmare demon would remain over this lengthy span of time. Infesting part of the shadowlands with it's corrupt darkness. Blending in with it's already dark aesthetic, and demons allowed it to go unnoticed. As everything looked as it usually would. It slowly grew and evolved. The contamination rate was low, but alive. Until finally in recent years it had fed on the region and contaminated enough of the creatures with it's corrupt darkness to amass an army of nightmare demons.

Unknown to the demon known as Nox, It's rise would be short lived. After so long in growth it faced certain doom. As it set it's sights on Meranthe and began it's march from the shadowlands, by chance a ritual would be happening that would change the world, caused by preexisting matters. This would be the blacklight ritual that removed the existence of most if not all demons. And this did not exclude Nox and it's army. 

Just as they emerged, they were dismantled and all the demons it had under it's control were diminished. The demon it's self would also meet it's end this way, but not without a fight.  It latched on to the nearest life form feeling as if it could outlast the effects by consuming it's life force or possessing and concealing it's self within it. However, the ritual was a barrier, and it would find it was incapable of surviving. Instead being within another life form during  the transformation into a beast, the change would birth a new magical beast from the union. It's blood crystalizing and forming the creatures core. Cursing the life form with it's ability to spread corrupt darkness and create a nightmarish world.

The corrupted life form was a small white kitten, now a magical beast of darkness. This was the creation of Nox Fallax. Taking the demon's name as it's clan name which it felt directed to. Unaware of it's origin Fallax grew and spread the darkness after years of hiding in plain sight and gaining strength. It recently left the shadowlands a few years ago.

The Hel cat, Cat of Omen, the Black Plague has traveled the continent of Meranthe for three to four years now since departing. It's corrupted darkness spreading with it's steps. The creature has traveled to every nation on the mainland of Meranthe physically. And it's curse has taken root, feeding on the inner darkness of those in Meranthe that have touched; pet, or even clashed with the cat. The cursed darkness has now seeped into the continent

The contagious darkness was not strong enough to corrupt and take root in magi. Non magi and natural creatures that held no magical resistance were not so fortunate. The vile contagious evil that was packaged into a cuddly friend had promoted mass infection. There were many who unknowingly pet Fallax and helped spread this new darkness, regardless of the feeling they got when they did. Spreading it within new territories the creature had not even been to.

The afflicted beasts stemming from the creatures and non magi that had been warped by the curse have begun appearing. Beasts of malice morphed by the black curse that corrupted them physically and mentally. Combining with their life's blood and creating their cores. Rooting their life to their curse. And over time has shaped them into what they are now. Another magical beast carrying the contagious curse.

Fueled by pack instincts with other infected beasts, and intelligence higher than what would normally be capable. These creatures pose more of a threat than the normal beasts. And even more so by cursing others they wound. The Progenitor of the curse has called out to it's children. Greater plans are yet to come, but The Black Plague has arrived.

You Are:

• A magical beast of the Nox clan.
  
• The pack persuades those of the less intelligent/overly hostile beasts in the clan.
  
• When you perm someone you should give them a curse, light curse for temps.
  
• You travel in packs with your siblings/other Nox beasts.
  
• Nox recognized each other as Kin without knowing one another. (due to curse)
  
• Will dev for Hive mind for the Nox in the future.
  
• Nox goes in front of your name.
  
• No sprites or soldier spawns, but you will be helped with boosters.
  
• Future plans and dev.
  
• Freedom to do as you please, just can't go against the clan. (while a Nox)
  
• We'll establish a hierarchy eventually which will coincide with the guild formation.
  
• Feel free to cause a little mayhem. (It's what the pack travel is for)
  
• If you're not a fighter/lag plagued, then create something cute and cuddly and keep track of who pets you.
  

Feel free to make one, no limit since we're just using magical beasts.
