The Vanguard | Pscaela's Admiralty

               The dawn of 2166 is marked -- in the bustling, second city of Progress -- by the rise of their own military force. Sketched by one Sabrina Rivers, at the Omnistrate's behest.

               Specializing in amphibious warfare, bolstering both analog and magi-tech equipment, members of the Vanguard stand as both peacekeepers and soldiers. Alongside this,    

               every soldier -- practitioner and not -- are educated on holy and dark arts and forbidden from public practice of the latter.                                                                   

                                         

               Answering firstly to the Omnistrate, and to the Lord/Lady Admiral second; the Vanguard's chain of command is as follows:

[ LORD/LADY ADMIRAL ]

The chief authority, second only to the Omnistrate himself.
Charged with affairs both within and out. War and diplomacy, hand in hand.

[ VICE ADMIRAL ]

An advisor and director both. 
Charged, primarily, with internal matters. Overseeing plans and stratagems,
managing promotions, and shoring up Pscaela's military force.

 [COMMODORE ]

A head, tried and tested.
Charged with wholly internal matters including, but not limited to:
training, disciplining, and promoting those below.

[ CAPTAIN ]

Those who steer both ship and man.
Responsible for commanding their vessel, officers, marines,
often tasked to lead smaller operations.

[ OFFICER ]

Those above the waves.
Tasked with taking care of many, training Ensigns, heading
petty operations, and keeping the peace foremost.

[ MARINE ]

The body and the spear.
The soldiers of Pscaela and the Vanguard. Charged with maintaining order,
upholding law, and seeing their assignments through.

[ ENSIGN ]

The many, clay yet molded.
Those who linger within the lower ranks are charged with menial tasks.
Chiefly, fighting, training, and growing their sea legs.
