Scholars in the Twilight Archives of Martyr's Vigil and the farmhands working on the lands of The Lawn whispered among themselves about the Lord Chronicler's impending retirement as he sought to tie up loose ends.

A notice would soon be posted in the central area of the Republic.

"I will be stepping down from public service for an indefinite period.
To those I'm already signed with, I will continue to fulfill my commitments, albeit at a slower pace.

I plan to dedicate more time to my family and my own projects.
