Within our lands, many odd happenings take place. Here's one of them; a strange example of synchronicity.
In the past few months, the masters of husbandry across Meranthe experience the same moment of inspiration. Not quite the same day, not quite the same shape, not even the same techniques. But a question pushes itself to the surface of the mind all the same, a subtle boon of creativity nudging one forward.
Quote:"What if I were to plant a crystal, shattered and splintered? Would it grow?"
And so, they did. The process was proven successful almost overnight, the many obstacles that might arise in facing the unknown neatly avoided at every step.
The technique has become semi-common recently, talk of a standardized kit to be sold by the agricultural guilds. Several claim to have pioneered the cultivation process - they may even be correct - but it has largely been attributed to Mestra by the non-magi farmers. A final gift following their parting, perhaps.
