The Cycle of Destruction and Rebirth.

Tempering of the Self, to be reforged into Something closer to your Truth."

Thus are the words spoken by the Irradiant of Unlight, to the faithful of the Grand Design.

A great loss has befallen the faithful.

Over nearly the past decade, Yuki Akatsuki has gathered many of the Realm of Nought. Her connection to the Lifestream culminated recently in her Irradiance. Long has she spoken of the Cycle of Destruction and Rebirth, her vision granted by her understanding of the Oaths of the Trinity.

The Architect has fallen. Faced Destruction in its ultimate form. 

Wreathed in Psionic Fire, ghostly purple flames, the woman proclaimed to her gathered audience within Unreality.

An announcement of her ritual of Ascension.

May she find her Truth in divine light. To return to us anew, or meet us again in the Nothing beyond.

"Soon, I will know Destruction. I will be Unmade. My former self, will die.

As I have many, many times before.

And I will rise from the ashes of Destruction. To claw ever further for my Truth.

Tempered, Remade.

Brought ever closer to our Truth.

Elemental Fire burned at the veil between Reality and Nought. The Irradiant of Unlight boldly walked into liquid fire, and was Unmade. Her flesh was burned, her bones rendered unto ash. There was only her Essence to be seen, for the one known as Yuki Akatsuki had died.

And yet that was not the End.

And from the broiling magma, arose another. Wreathed in the Fires of Meranthe, did the Irradiant rise from ash. To be greeted in her Rebirth to a gathered audience and weeping faithful.

"From Ash, are we Reborn.

From Nothing, I have forged myself anew.

Another Cycle, another Destruction.

Another Rebirth."

Five tails of ghostly white had flowed behind her after the fire's retreat.
Yet, it would only last for a fleeting moment before they could no longer remain in Reality.
The Irradiant of Unlight was Reborn, like unto a Phoenix from Ash.
Stronger. Taller. Faster.
But her story is far from over.
