Of Artificiery
- Orichalcum for ease of rune-based alteration
- A combination of poppylus, fairy powder, and adamantite for a possible 'blood-like' medium to carry energy through the book to fuel its self-repairing capabilities
On the inner cover are several proposed runic formulae with an emphasis on adaptation, consumption, and life itself, all meant to hopefully push Regalus' intended use for the tome into the realm of possibility.

Eternite worked into auguria staff, to channel mana.
Arcanium, tyrium, orichalcum onto the tipped sphere, along with runes

Note: Um[omit] crafted Gravestone. Tyrium sword infused with viridium and Auguria. Materials and resources should not be a limit to a true artificer's capability'
Tyrium may be used for magical applications by utilizing the attraction property but using the mana before it could ever be absorbed into the metal itself

Principles of Runecasting:
Runecastings involved the alphabet and language of the divines. They are symbols that hold intructions to shape the world around them. They are mainly used for magic that requires precision and detail.

On Artificer Tools
I've finally decided to experiment around with the various tools and equipment made available to the common artificiery: namely that of anvils, hammers, alongside the other tools made available to the common artificer. Five common anvils are often made in bulk for artificers to purchase, rarely ever an artificer would actually make their own. Instead, that task is offset for non-magi blacksmiths.
Magical items are items in which magical properties are imbued within, usually of weapons and armor but far from limited to just those two. These can differ from artificer to artificer but the most common constructs almost always rely on an anvil and its tools. As stated before, these tools are made in 5 different materials, those of Stone, Iron, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. These are in order of magical potency, Gold being the most potent of them all and stone the least.
However, the magical potency of the tools does not guarantee the magical potency of the item forged by them. Funnily enough, neither do an artificer's skill. Rather... it quite often than not, up to the whims of magic.
Put simply, the creation of a magical item when forged through common methods often meet its crux on the anvil. Magic is imbued upon the hammer and anvil by an artificer. As the item forged is struck by hammer and held by anvil, this magic is stimulated and impressed upon that item. This magic does whatever it needs to: imbuing magic, creating or changing properties, and whatever else.
The amount and complexity of magic, while dependent on the artificer's skill, also largely relies on the quality of the anvil and hammer. The higher quality it is, the more magic it can store and eventually pass on to the item. However, this is in the end up to chance (OOC: pun intended). Throughout the forging process, the magic can dissipate, go into erroneous directions, or more often than not, hindered by material impurities within either equipment or the material of the tools itself.
So it begs the question: Why not use higher quality materials for anvils?
The answer for that would be the conflict between the tools and of the item forged.
The item forged MUST be of a higher quality material than the tools used to forge it, lest the magic would simply stay within the tools themselves due to its higher aptitude rather than be imbued upon the lower weapon. It's the main reason why things gold, which is far from the most magical of metals, are used as the highest material for forging tools. While still being able to hold an adequate amount of magic, it's low grade ensures most if not all of said mana are passed onto the item and not instead held.
However, with its still low grade of the tool, the problems of magical dissipation and entropy will remain, hence the inconsistency in traditional forging.
The only way to bypass this seems to be through the application of more unique styles of forging, a one of a kind effort and focus by the artificer.

Of Audhild
The centermost area for trade and business, Audhild is a luxurious and exuberant city that does well to showcase its prosperity. Large houses and mansions wherever you look and small miniature gardens wherever else. Sugarcap mushrooms liter the area amidst light green grasses and healthy forest. The strong seabreeze flows as its lively port works through day and night. Fascinatingly enough, that very port faces the against Sheol.

Of A Science Fair - AC2077
Andes hosted a Science fair with a grand total of... 2 participants. It was a little awkward to say the least...
An unknown person and a woman named Drusilla
Presenter: Unknown
Item: Hoverboots.
Description:
A prebuilt device was used, it built from wind crystals which hovered about the ground. The prebuilt device was then modified and shaped as soles and various runes were applied within the inner sole to control the crystal, activating, deactivating, and even directing the force as wished. The boots didn't hold any outstanding appearances, being of metal boots made of mithril, apart from the green glow on its soles upon activation.
Conclusion: It's does nothing levitation potions can't already do. At a cheaper and less complicated price at that. However, should it be further developed, it may easily become a popular commonplace item.
Presenter: Drusilla, co-built by Niemh
Item: Lament of Waning Moon
Description:
A memento and a weapon built over a long period of time. A weapon built on purpose incomplete so as to be able to grow alongside it's wielder, possesing a soulbinding ability. Holds a crystal orb at its focus, possibly made of prismithium and an unknown object, within a perfect image of the heavens. The handle is of austeria, carved full of beautiful runework and artisan glyphs, angravings of a story beyond my ability or time to tell, but it seems to be of the constellations and the stars. Auras of aether and of two, quite possibly of Drusilla and her mentor, could be felt, unable to be separated from the object.
Conclusion: One of a Kind.
Winner: Benjamin (the unknown from beginning)
Funnily enough, Drusilla never managed to present the second project she said she'd present.
Additions, from questions:
Hoverboots:
Automization of altitude control is abandoned for more manual control and freedom.
No problem in crystal construction
Lament:
Implanted Aether was sourced from Drusilla herself, having been forced out.
Personal questions:
Hoverboots:
Advantages over levitation potion?
Maximum speed?
Safety features?
Crystal durability?
Weight limit?

Of Alchemy
Theory: Mana Amnesia and the Body
The body of a mage is made up of magical circuits, of which grow ever plentiful as the mage grows in power. Each and every spell requires the use of a different combination and build of mana circuits to use, so that the body may grow "used" to casting said spells. However, mana circuits cannot build infinitely and harden over time, restricting in the choices a mage has on spells it may use during a high stress environment such as combat. In short, the normal body has limits on how many spells it can effectively cast.
Mana amnesia uses the properties of soothing reeds and the weakening properties of Kyi'ah, softening the mana circuits, allowing the user to reorient spells whose use may be stressed.
Solution:[Theory: Mana Amnesia and the Body]
Mana circuits can store memories of 'casts' to make spells work.
Theory: Adrenaline Mk.2
An enhanced version of Adrenaline, improving focus in terms of casting speed and visualization at the expense of mana substance and resulting density of spells. Perhaps through some measured and combined use of halucinogenic herbs for visualization, magical redirection capabilities of blackout potions, and elemental enhancements of attunement potions... more research required.
Ol[Redacted] - Soothing reed to ease the circuits, Glowshrooms to speed up energy and mana flow, some lightning crystals to channel mana efficiently, Cobalthine for improved mana concentration ability and maybe some fae powder to bolster the effects... Given those, it would probably work, but the quantity of each is what we'd have to work out...
Theory: Gigantification Potion
The blood of a true giant... due to lack of material, further research is rendered moot.
Theory: Tree Armor Potion
- A[Redacted]
Replication of the use of nature as displayed by tree demons, to create a cursed ground. An occultic sprout would grow upon it's user, attach itself through their magical circuits, and controlled as an extended body.
Note: Explore possibilities without use of occultic magic. The dryad commonly seen at Dal'thala is an interesting subject of curiosity.
--------
Element Crystals seem to be crystals formed by condensed mana of one of five mana types, which I will reference further as "The Core Elements". Surveying monsters like the Domice, Swuiswarme, Grodon, Lupin and Magpawn, it is apparent that the Core Elements CAN be condensed into such crystals naturally. Given a natural occurence, it is very possible for an artificial process to condense said mana into a crystal akin to a crystalized form, perhaps leading into a more powerful crystal harnessing more mana than a standard elemental crystal.
Lightning Crystals are condensed lightning mana. Surveying Magpawns and how the electricity emanating from their crystals creates the very being they inhabit, as well as attract metals to form its body. Lightning could merely be a channel of condensed mana that repels or attracts mana and objects with such force that it can shake the very being of what it comes into contact with with such force that it can cause the target to damage itself by vibrating due to the sheer force contained within the channel. If so, Lightning is not a tangible concept, but rather a series of external "mana circuits" sent out from the user to channel mana within themselves and the world around them to concentrate a stream of mana to their target.
Fire Crystals are condensed fire mana. Surveying Domice and how they utilize fire from the crystals in their small mechanic drones, it is clear they feed mana to the crystal as fuel to use spells, ranging from the amount of mana and in what formation in the crystal the mana is fed through it. Fire seems to be, at its core, a transfer of mana into a singularity of mana expulsion, releasing mana from the sort of enclosed state it is always in and allowing mana to spread outward and fade as the raw energy transfer from the mana erupts into the world without containment. If so, Fire is a tangible concept, if only by means that the release of raw mana creates such force that channels the power of mana into waves of fierce destruction on a limited and controlled scale.
To further refine my thoughts, Fire is an element that uses the destruction of something to create itself, the burning of air or fuel allows fire to become larger or more powerful, with the purer the source, the more devastating the result. Hotter fires burn blue while the "standard" definition of fire is red; while plasma, which I have seen used before, is purple, which may lend to the idea that plasma is the hottest kind of "fire" to exist. Plasma seems to be the channelling of the explosive result of Fire magic into pathways that direct the force into specific paths, akin to Lightning magic. Giving credence to this thought, it might be possible that Plasma magic is a culmination of Fire and Lightning magic, which brings into being an experiment to explore Plasma magic and what it can do.
In short, Fire and Lightning magic are both intangible means to channel mana into performing certain actions or having certain results. Fire channels mana and releases its energy; while Lightning compacts manaflow and channels mana directly between compacted source and target.

Of Spiritmancy
-Fau[Redacted]
Spirits are a part of any existance that lives.
"Ash-dur talah il'mare"
Some of these spirits are known as wisps, able to be summoned from plants. A wisp of a plant represents the plant itself, including its desires and wants. One such wisp... reside within my own potted flower, a barely visible body pulsating in a green light. Only able to be seen as [Redacted] shared it's mana with me.
However, even though I can no longer see it, at least now I can feel it's prescence. The world... feels so much more alive.
Note: Take care of your plants better.
-----
Regarding the spirit realm itself, it's a mirror, in the simplest terms. A non-physical dominion which seemingly overlaps with our own, parodying its functionalities. Upon the death of any living thing, they'll become intertwined with the spiritual; resting for an indefinite amount of time.
'To correct my past statement, every biological construct is not acquainted with a 'Soul,' but a Spirit. The aforementioned terminology has not been altered, as its containments still uphold their validity.'
'Regarding the spirit, or its proper name, the essence, is the non-interactable exterior of the spirit. A definite half of the self, alongside the miraculous archive for the life. Upon death, this archive is retrieved and assimilated into the greater spirit, the meddling of the divine protecting every past, or current, lifetime.
Curiously, if seemingly 'disappointed' in death, the spirit will retreat to the cosmos, denying itself the opportunity of reincarnation. Despite the complexity of the spirit, its greater whole can be led astray by a singular essence nonetheless. Their existence in coincidence with the native residents of the Spirit realm.
- The Elder Fae.
- Alternative spirits who've refused to leave the grasp of Yggdrasil.
- Creatures that exist beyond the mortal comprehension for the time being.
As their world parodies, or more accurately, mirrors our own, nature is a constant; the simplest foundations in the material realm having their appropriate representations in the spiritual.
From the smallest pebble, the most linear droplet of water, to gigantic mountains that've existed for millions of years.
The Nethradin are manipulative creatures, striking the emotionally, and or physically brittle, offering them exchanges for power, wealth, and other miscellaneous desires. T[Redacted] has advised me to avoid interacting with these creatures. It'd be best to follow its advice.
The actualization of demons are confirmed through biological methods, rather forms of divination as I had thought beforehand.'
- TA[Redacted]'S EDIT.
- All things that live held a portion of their being that was spiritual in nature. Only those with some degree of sapience carried a Soul, however. Such is what allowed those to form an Essence rather than a Wisp that would be found in lesser animals.
- The Essence was certainly interactable. Those of Witch Covens are imbued with the ability to pull of pieces of such things for their own works, as well as manipulating one's own Essence in the arts of the Psionic.
- The roaming Essence discontent with its demise would not roam indefinitely. Given time, they will come to terms with their death and return to the cycle of reincarnation, their time led astray complete.
TELEPATHY/COMMUNICATION.
'The method of communications utilized to reach the spirit realm are varied. Most commonly, spiritmancers affirm their communions through the empowerment of the physical, bleeding their words into the cosmos. As T[Redacted] has advised, however, I shall project my voice beyond the linear reigns of the physical, exchanging conversations with their kin through the evocation of my essence.'
'Receiving their word is complicated, but with my eventual development, I shall perceive them as T[Redacted] itself can.'

Of Pleonexia
A quaint startup village surrounded by a tree grove and a bountiful meadow. Sanskriti and various flowers bloom by the thousands while birds, butterflies, and fireflies frolick freely. A warm and lovely paradise at a northern edge of Meranthe.
It's polity and beliefs are unknown aside from taking a neutral position amidst the other nature and occult magic seems to be freely used here.

It was in this city that I lost my brother, Acero de Flores. I have no heart to witness it's future.
It is not their fault, of that I know.
He was no casualty of the city, nor it's inhabitants, this my knowledge knows...
But by the simple foolish decision of a War.
In these days of wars, it is illogical to despise them, a fallacy to hate them, injustice to wish them death.
Yet I do.
Worry not, for these emotions shall simply be buried in my heart. Alongside memories.

Of Unnatural Phenomena
There belies a natural regenerative property upon the lands of this continent. An active and ongoing measure to restore lands, fauna, and flora when unnaturally affected by the likes of magic.
Felled trees will regrow at it's original place in an unnatural pace, sometimes even forgoing the need to regrow and simply 'be replaced' by a grown tree, for the lack of better words. Fauna once completely culled in an area would reappear and repopulate seemingly out of thin air, despite continuous active observation of the area and lack of any outside entry. Alchemical reagents would grow despite having been completely uprooted and metal ores would see their veins replenished. Not even the Fel-lands are exempt from this constancy, which throws out the theory of Divine Intervention from the likes of Alacritas, Nemea, or those of the Lifestream in terms of the replenishment of the natural order.
This sort of recovery cannot be done by simple heavy application of mana or accelerated growth, simply by being in an mana-rich environment. If anything, on my experience as a Chronomancer, I could only relate this sort of phenomenon to the spell: Wound Reversal. However, this would imply that this phenomenon is an application of Time Magic on a continuous and world-class scale, far beyond the see of any mortal eyes...
Though Life, Death, and even Space itself may distort throughout these lands by the influence of the Fel, Talguth, and other variables, only time seems to remain a constant throughout all planes.
I cannot help but to ascribe this phenomenon as a blessing by Memoria going by my current hypothesis.
[Hypothesis: UNCONFIRMED]: Further observation required.
---- 2091 AC
Building on the previous hypothesis [See section Of Unknown Phenomena: Unnatural Regrowth], it builds onto some interesting correlations with other observed phenomena. Of them, the most over-aching and prevalent are those rare cases in which the world, for the lack of better adjective, seems to stutter, slow, or even freeze in its entirety.
I have observed such rare cases personally multiple times, however it seems that most others simply ignore, or perhaps even be unaware, of such phenomenon. Perhaps it is within the human psyche to ignore such phenomenon too grand to grasp. I seem to be able to remember... that I've done the same, ignored such phenomenon.
Perhaps it is my realization into Time Magic and the machinations of motion that I do, but perhaps it's something else.
I digress.
I have observed that the likelihood of this phenomenon occurring exponentially grows during heights of wars and battle between mass groups of mages and magic is employed en masse. The reasons for doing so relates to the previous Unnatural Regrowth phenomenon hypothesis, in which a grand Time spell is hypothesized to undo damage done to the environment by unnatural magics employed by most mages.
If damage is being done is so much and so fast, as a war or battle of a certain magnitude may cause, it will actively hinders this Unnatural Regrowth phenomenon. A disparity in what should be and what is. This disparity would cause the proposed Grand spell to faulter and recalibrate for the new damages. This recalibration takes time, and for a Time spell of this magnitude to take time...
Well... the world may just wait for it.
[Hypothesis: UNCONFIRMED]: Further observation required.

Of A Sermon of Alacritas - AC2077
Flowers bloom as birds and butterflies flock to Solais, a breath of life endlessly pulsing from it. Vitality burst forth spreading through the four directions. I could feel it through the winds, it is alive and it is singing it's Vitality throughout the continent.
And so the words:
"Welcome to the Alacritan' Churchs third sermon. And, to Solais' twentieth anniversary; since the rite of ascension had been completed, Solais has been watching over Mankind and the Frontier for twenty whole years.
So much has happened - both good, both bad, and all a part of life.
And yet, we must remember to endure -- for Alacritas, a constant as she is, always surrounds us - and Solais is a combination of Hope and Life. He reminds us that we must remain strong as ever, to not turn our backs on our ideals and on what we love so dearly"
"Grant, O' Lady Alacritas and Solais, thy protection.
And in protection, strength.
And in strength, understanding. And in understanding, knowledge.
And in knowledge, the knowledge of justice, and in the knowledge of justice, the love of it, and in the love of it - the love of all existences.
And in the love of all existences, the love of Solais and Alacritas;
Hope and Life, and all goodness"
"It is in you that we learn the beauty of life, and through your wisdom the strength to be kind, Lady Alacritas.
It is through your stalwart protection that we learn to not give up hope, Solais - our beloved tree." -Az[Redacted]
Candle lights would raise above the ground, circling about the Solais and solemn awe. And my arm, the little occult influence I've yet purged from it, would tug me away from it. Though, it is but a futile and negligible attempt.
"A new year comes. Life grows and sprouts, while a new generation follows.
Lady Silver Alacritas, Constant of Life,
Gaze upon your childs, old and young, who pray and wish for your love and kind embrace to be shared. Solais, hear their prayers of Hope and Life, and help their words to be carried through your branches, reaching the everlasting sky that covers our world.
The world is vast, and there is plenty of wonders to discover. But many thorns lay ahead in such adventures. But it's in these challenges, that we understand Life's beauty and value in the Living, and how precious it is to preserve and take care.
Earlier before Solais' growth, some remember the catastrophic year of Ragnarok, where for a whole year Meranthe was covered in darkness due to eruption of Vdalion's volcano. A year, marked by anguish and despair. But from the ashes, Life was reborn, and through the collective prayers of Hope and Life, we stood tall. We stood strong and united. And Solais, is the embodiment of these prayers. A living symbol of our will to Live and remain Hopefull.
A new generation is born since these events. We pray, for them, for their safety, for their growing success, as we pray for the bravery, courage, patience and kindness of the older generation to share their knowledge and virtues." - Sv[Redacted]
Additional candles are raise, rotating about Solais as it exudes incense. The Lifestream could be felt from the sheer strength of its pulses.
Afterwards, Re[Redacted] said forth a prayer in an unknown language.
It went on, ceremonies and exclamations, blessings of Solais rained down on me as cosmic dust, freeing me from pain, both known and not. My hand would die from writing it all. Nonetheless, it conveyed one message, of the celebration of life and hope and it's continuation.
Slight interruption, it is interrupted (though subtly ignored) by presence of those from the Enclave. Bad blood as a result from wars.
Alacritas - 2080 AC
I have missed the major portion of the sermon, not making it in time for the welcome and prayers. A sermon of struggles, a prayer to surpass them, and the assurance of being loved.
But it's not as if I missed it in it's entirety.
The tenets of Lady Alacritas:
Protect and save Life
Respect Life
Grow Life
and an Unconditional Love and Kindess to neighbors
The initiation speach:
"Lady Alacritas, Silver Constant of Life,
Those in front of us wish to be wrapped in your kind embrace, and learn under your name your tenets on Life.
Under your name, they wish to protect Life. They wish to share your kindness and goodwill. They wish to nurture and defend the will to Live and the Hope within other souls. To act as an extension of your will and your charisma. To show the world the beauty of life and the Divines’ Creation."
"To you, Children of Alacritas.
Are you ready to embrace this journey of discovery along with the Lady Silver of Life ? To be true to your beliefs and display it without shyness? To protect the world and the Nature created, and deepen your connection to her Lady? And most importantly, are you ready to join her embrace without any remorse and regret, and doing it willingly with your true self?" - [Redacted] Priest of Alacritas.
Jiuweihu, Spirit of the Sun, Matron of the Kitsunes. Upon the creation of the Lifestream by Nyssa and Alacritas, many Lifeforms emerged. Of them, powerful elementals and spirits, some blessing humanity. Of them, Leanaus, Asena, and others.
Learning of Alacritas is to learn of life and its consequence on the universe.
Life is a universal tenet present in many other Gods, Pantheons, and Primordials. Include but not limited to Nemea, Mestra, and Caius
2 new initiates entered into the Church of Alacritas. A bud of Lotus baptizing them and a cowl symbolizing their oath as they entered.
Three orders offered: Of Healing, Of Protectors, and Of Scholars... Scholars... how interesting... I wonder if they have a library I could gander.
Of A Shepherd's Sermon 2087 AC
A faith which enshrines Lady Mortyl and Lord Caius, the Constant and Primordial of Death in order. Taking place upon the Celestial Orrery within Final Frontier, led by one Caligo Thymai Equisol and Delilah Parton.
After introductions, a prayer is offered:
Humble mother of departed souls, and kindly Father that sees Spirits home.
Accepting of all dead, we offer our thanks. Hallowed guardians of the Late, we are reverent in knowing we shall greet you in due time.
This solemn vow of acceptance of death, Shepherds are offered and pledge. Yet by the grace of Death's Lady and Lord, may it be long before we are to meet.
And when it is, at last, our time. May we be ferried among the dead. Returned to the stars and realms beyond, to see our kin once more.
A question is posed: What is the value of a single life?
The question is rhetoric, rather it is an ideal in itself. The Shepherds main goal is to aid others in the completion of their lives. To fulfill their goals, satisfy their desires, and lead them to a desirable end upon their path.
In doing so, the worth of lives increase, their death ever more so worth.
...
A life lived for the sake of others... As idealistic as it may sound, I cannot bear to agree with their lifestyle. And at the same time I cannot deny it. To find fulfilment in fulfilling the lives of others, you faithfully surrender your lives to humanity as a whole. A dangerous gamble.

Of Wayfinding
Class 2 - 2084 AC
Method of casting seems to be of runecasting.
Runes:
*Travel: establishes connection to lifestream
*Territory: Defintes starting and ending positions and traces the route between them.
*Interpolation: Accounts for shifts within travel
*Conversion: Accounts for safety of travelers
*Portal: The very route itself'
The portal turns mana into something akin to a drill, opening a way from the start to the destination through the lifestream. Details are important in visualizing the runes, knowing each tree, rubble, and landmarks. Any changes would likely deviate destination, if it opens at all.
Balance between mana is an important consideration. Using stars to fuel the portals may be hard due to the differences in the constellation depending on time, weather, and place.
-------
Travel: Visualize the concept of the Lifestream and the Spirit World
Destination: Familiarize with this place and to the island trained on.
Interpolation: Think of the small changes: seasons, weather, human
Conversion: Integrity and safety
Portal: Open the way
-------
Wayfinding is the way to travel through the lifestream, entering and exiting through convergence points.
Of the many Primordials, Chireus, known as the Messenger of the Pantheon, is said to be the founder of Wayfinding. A chromatic winged aviary beast that could fly faster than light and reach any place of the Universe. They represent the wanderlust of mankind. Chireus' travels left behind the Wander Taxidion phenomenon, knots caused by his passage that resulted in the formation of Gates. The study of these gates eventually led way to Traversal Magic.
This magic split into two schools: Ergo Diareste: Riftmancy, and Ergo Trop: Wayfinding.
Tenets of the School of Wayfinding:
Accuracy
Familiarity
Transcendent Understanding
Meticulous Planification
To wayfind is to pinpoint two locations about the world, tracing a route in between two points. Usage of runes is required, casting from the Temple/mind.
Riftmancy's tenets are of spontanity, adaptation, and assertiveness. It requires plenty of trial and error and bruteforces their way through the lifestream, damaging it in the process. Though quick and improvisable, Wayfinding is more accurate and safe.
----
The wayfinding school of magic is a magic that utilizes the near omnipresence of the lifestream to transfer oneself from one place to another. Using runes to store existential and material data (essence/memory), 'import'-ing it onto one's essense, and regressing oneself to one's basic spirit is the very manner in which one traverses this lifestream. Once the spirit has traveled to its intended destination, runes 'export' the once stored existential data and reform the material being into physicality.
.
However, what of the timestream?
.
Time magic can be used to affect the timestream, speeding it up and slowing it down. In this viewpoint, reality becomes the anchor and the timestream the variable to be changed.

Of Autumn Poetry
A collection of poetry, showcased upon a gathering hosted by Su[Redacted] in the year 2093 AC within Dal'thala.
---
"It's been going well
So many friends and family
I fund them with love
They pay back with their own
I appreciate it a lot
It's lonely at times though
Late nights with my dogs
But I'm happy
It's been fun
I've been healthy
Watching plays in my free time
Admiring the actors and actresses
Wearing different masks and personas
A super fun time
I watch them alone though
Idling with runes and cannons
Tinkering and tinkering
Making the world a better place
So many inventions
It's honest work
I'm content so far though
Wonder how it'll keep going
Gala is the coolest for sure
And I'll keep serving her forever
To see where she takes me"

“Get lost,” each said to the other,
and they forgot they were brothers.
Now their children only look from afar,
some from Aphros, some from Citadel,
freedom’s fruit tastes bittersweet;
Meranthe’s jewels are never to meet.
At Dal'thala, I looked east:
into our past
who’d have thought
a thousand years wouldn’t last?
Relics of days long gone--
you can find them in my bones.
I am the crumbling minstrel,
the decrepit city walls,
a castle adorned by modern
fittings, forged in doubt.
then set ablaze;
a pyre for our past.
Life on
the lam
has lost
its lustre;
the Likely Lass,
in all likelihood,
laments her
lack of a
luxurious life,
lusting in
Londo;
lamenting
her Love.

"The first time I tried to kill my daughter
I swaddled my arms so tight around the beat
of her chest..."
"Thinking I could pray her
into a cathedral of birds.
Every symptom of her body would break
into the sound of a million...
murmuring wings..."
"You see I never actually wanted to kill her.
I just wanted to Destroy her into something too beautiful to hate."

Dull
"Dull, not as in boring or bland, but as like a blade used one time too many.
I see dulled expressions, feelings, emotions, on those who I meet in life.
I wish for them to feel the full breadth of live once more.
Sorrow cannot be properly felt after being exposed to it so much.
They take that from us.
I want to cry.
I want to scream.
Yet I see those that have done so, years, decades, ago no longer do so.
They've had it stolen from them.
Can I cry for you?
Will you cry for me?
There are those I miss, tears well up at the mention of their name."
"I want to keep that.
I never wish to part from the sadness of the absence of you.
Because it shows me I still love.
I still care.
Like a blade fresh from the forage, I am not dull.
May age not take that from me."

"It can burn out
It can burn brightly
It can consume us
For each person it is different
But for me it was ever diminishing,
Where young it burned brightly and focused
With time it has only grown dimmer,
Sometimes the original purpose lost
Sometimes the purposes warped
Sometimes I look back at such a flame
I wonder if it would burn bright for me once more
To burn brighter than it ever has, but I must find it
Find that which once ignited me such time ago
Whether it be that of love, or that of resolve
I don’t know, but somedays I wonder
If that fire was something of my creation
Or that of another
Maybe one day I will find what was lost
The flame that burned so bright"

"I've taken into consideration why I do the things I do.
Duty and obligation.
What are my duties?
Again to this question of place in the world.
Twenty years and what is my place?
Twenty years and I feel no different.
I am trying to write the story that'll be the pinnacle of my career-
or perhaps I already have and
already amI sinking into
the obscurity I feared so much...
It feels so good to kill the sun.
Living is killing the sun.
Even though killing the sun scares me.
I worry-"
"...about a lot of things.
Unveiled from the shadows
and shining a light onto something I want unseen.
My world, my thoughts, my abilities.
At some point,
everyone will come to the realization
that there is nothing special
about what I write.
I want so much to see what others tell me they see.
But I am no one's day,
no sun in the sky
or warm light."
"I want to write what it's like
even if I feel incapable
inadequate
to tell the story I want to tell.
I am thinking so hard
maybe I should stop
cease the polish
let it be as..."
"Twenty years and I still don't know who I am.
I think the sun still sets over moonlight."

"A million things come to mind."
"Yet of it all, I can only focus on you.
Like a moth to a flame,
pray, you won't burn me so.
Delicate, my wings,
they'll catch fire like thin paper-
Yet I draw nearer and nearer
when other lights
beckon my hover."
"A million things come to mind.
I have all of these duties
I subscribe to myself,
responsibilities of my own making.
I want to make them all proud,
even if my heart
wants to run away with you.
Hold it gently,
will you?
A million things come to mind.
I want to be someone everyone looks to,
but most of all,
I want your gaze.
A hungry,
longing stare,
upon my person.
As if nothing else existed
or ever will.
A million things comes to mind..."
