After his spar against the God-Emperor Jokul, Xerneas had retreated from the forests of Dal'Thala. Whereabouts of him had become more of an enigma. To say his disappearance within the Guild of Tag is a mystery is quite untrue, and possibly an over-exaggeration. The Seeker within The Tower of Apotheosis is still there - eyes still glancing to observe Loki and their actions. The boy who gave him inspiration to pursue the completion of his passion project - to test to see if his thesis was right.
Is a mortal's emotion the key to achieving great power? Is emotion the catalyst for a man to become a God in their own right?
Magic doesn't come out of nowhere right? Power doesn't immediately get bestowed upon to you since the beginning of one's birth, or since the beginning of time.
Since the Beginning of Primordial Time, there was Once a Void of Nothing. From that Void, A Divine being of Eldritch Light came into existence.
The being of Eldritch Light, known as Kraus, huffed and filled the void his life bringing breath.
From that breath filled with Life had Ignited the Pyres of Creation and Structure
From that Pyre, the Building Blocks of Life would work together to form something grand and anew from that Chaos
His spar with Jokul gave him a new realization.
His One and True enemy is God, and God itself.
Anyone beneath God is no more than a False God, and False Gods are the only ones that stand in his way.
"In the next One Hundred Days - No, in the next five years, I will seek you out Jokul. You have insulted me enough by not revealing your true power to me. Is this pity I smell? Is this cowardice I sense? Aren't a God such like yourself are incapable of such mundane feelings. What happened to being all Great and Mighty, like many people had depicted you as. What happened to that Pride, from being a mortal blessed by the Light of an Invisible, Sleeping God?"
