A letter is left on the table of the Avincus estate, addressed to Kure Avincus, from Lavain. It's several pages long, but some excerpts read...
"I was proud to call you my son even if you 'talked back', and still am. I knew right away I had to leave then and there to take care of you, even if it cost me my Moon. I had to make up for those seven years. I couldn't abandon you again."
