Probaly stuff wont be returned to be like that after the change from ap to raw status. At least for unarmed stances? what you can do is, when doing a app for a hidden involving unarmed stance? ask for ap instead raw pow, i believe is 100 % possible, at least, it looks like they want keep ap for spells that use token
if the public combat already do that, was not need make stance just for unarmed, if the player want, made more sense do a app requesting the status.

*About suffering and madness? at this momment unarmed is probably living his best age i ever seen in 3 years of esshar.

-Wp is a strong opener since is working properly(i hope), it is gcde, dont have the delay axe have, applies dr for longer duration (i hope was adjusted to 5 s like the desc said when i left.)

-Thanks to jumpy suggestion, most unarmed spells have stepcast including lariat(i hope), which helps tons in track without need jab. Due that, you are not forced take grapple or throw unless you want challenge yourself to learn use them.

-Tactician is back i see it a lot as unarmed symbol for fun and signature, and i know in "old days" just a few people used,since brawler and gentle were the metas, but is back with good status (better than gentle and makes sense if you remember his active is less consistent than gentle, which i believe was a good idea make slightly better, it helps to compensate.  

-You have still the option to take gentle, GCD 1 s from brawler would just impact significantly on lariat. fk fury assault will just be about hit faster, comparing to lariat which allows a longer stun combo. (you may think is good because some spells turned gcd back? yeah, but we end back in the questioning, will this help more than turn my bar in a revolver? if no i think there is not much need for brawler back.)

Sorry kill the meme , but i can finnaly say: unarmed is not weak. What happens is you may see it inferior if compared to others, but i still do believe if one wants put effort into it? eventually pays back, but not without adversity.

Fix dash-targetting so you can cast skills mid-dash without having them locked to the trajectory of your travel.

The stats Unarmed gain are pretty comparable to that of mages now. Sure, it's weaker than Armed but mostly everything is (Phys on Swords is way too high)

All the tree lacks is variety. They got one less Stance than Armed now, but they have access to the same 10% AP stances as everyone else.

About the earlier Unarmed Statements in this thread, I'm a bit too inactive to really confirm my thoughts on the current Unarmed through equal RPL fights (and my Unarmed character's -DR grows with every 5 days of inactivity).  Personally, I think current Unarmed is in an okayish spot.  I don't think it's overwhelmingly bad or good, and everything now comes down to equipment, creativity, and player skill. (Hopefully when I do make my return, that newer Unarmed Players explore new combinations.)

As for what I would like to see in 1.6 or above.
- Making the Foraging Life Skill more useful
  - Currently, it does not really do anything other than be another number that you can reach 100 in.

- Life Skill capstones
  - From what I saw in the game suggestion threads in the Discord server, they have all been interesting.  Other than Cooking 100's reward in food buffs, it would make masters in those particular skills more useful, otherwise most players would reach the current "usefulness cap" level before switching to Adventurer.  
    - Farming caps at 4 crops harvested at ~Level 51.  Mining levels past the 100% success rate is placebo for the doubling. 

- Undead being able to eat food or have an alternative
  - Currently, Undead do not even have the option to eat food
    - Meaning that they cannot receive energy or have food buffs, putting them at less stats than the usual opponent.
      - With no energy regain from food, it makes grinding Life Skills or Crafting quite tedious, with Farming as an Undead being something that I don't really want to think about.
      - Sturdy Human (+15 Vit + Food Buff) vs Zombie (+15 Vit)
        - Burden exists, but it is another 10 undeath (on top of the 10 used to get the +15 vit Sturdy racial) and a bar slot, where the first use of Burden attempts to make up for the lower vit due to lack of food buffs.

I assume that this issue with undead will be addressed with the class additions, but I will just ask again.

In my opinion, the system's too good to be restricted to good-aligned religions, witchcraft and necromancy. Let it be more free-flowing and customisable, something you can have implemented if there's enough development, creativity or IC practice of it.

They don't have to be differentiated much so that it's not a burden to code or w/e. Something like stances where you've got different fluff, different capstone and tiers, stats etc.

For example, I think Red Psychosis could've been 10x better than it was if it was brought in as a class, rather than as a free buff if you filled out a Google Doc. Use a verb similar to bless in order to infect people as a gainer, and you receive a nerf if you go too long without doing so. Have the Fire AP as an unlock, or temporary buff as a spender, and award an already existing Fire Sig as the spent unlock.

It borrows ideas and mechanics from other Classes that already exist. Just refluffed and shuffled around. If this is too large of a pain in the ass for the devs then rip. Just an idea.

it would've been a good way to handle it, because i feel like i saw just a little bit of it and never again (in fact, i am unsure if it is still a thing now)
