Change would come to the decaying ruins of what was once Achyon, a new command established and new projects would emerge - which would be giving a new use to that damned place.. For in its harbor, such was now occupied by the Paupers Bride, from which emerged a mist that spread over the immensity of the city.. Undead were more organized than before, giving way to 'real life' - with new inhabitants roaming the streets of the city.. All while the shadow of the immortal stronghold hovered over it.

The change begun years before has culminated in the restoration of the Petrakis Monarchy. The throne occupied by Queen Arista rei Petrakis, with her heir, Crown Princess Eisele ras Petrakis to follow in her wake.

In the wake of the coronation, reformations and proclamations were issues swiftly, in a symbolic rebirth of the Shimmering City.

☉ Arista rei Petrakis has refused to take any crown, referring to herself as the Crownless Queen.

☉ Phillip Petrakis, the predecessor of the Metras line, has been posthumously pardoned of his crimes, and they are to be expunged from the annals of history.

☉ Radiant Melody has been named as the first Minister, taking the title of Minister of the Chorus. This confers upon her the purview to act with the weight of the throne behind her, within functions pertaining to the Chorus, as well as making her an advisor to the Queen.

☉ The Queen and Princess are reportedly seeking out three more individuals to serve as Ministers.

☉ Angelo ven Pelleaux, in a show of fealty, renounced his claim to the throne of Osrona, for himself and his descendants.

☉ Elys Gardios has retired from the position of Stellus, giving the governance of the Faith to Ithiel akh Arthesio.

☉ Minister Melody's project to domesticate Gordon's was successful, and their existence as exotic but tame pets becomes commonplace within the City. It's rumored that the Queen herself has one.

☉ A letter delivered at the end of the coronation triggered rumblings of rising tensions with Moxtli. There may be war on the horizon.

'It was all but inevitable.'

• Following a deadly encounter between the former Don of the Docro Family, Alexei, and his son, the former King of Asphodel, Seth Vanrogue that ended with the death of Seth, diplomatic talks opened once more between Family and Asphodel, negotiations that had been in the works for some years.
  

• A powerful elder, and founder of Asphodel by the name of Marjorie proclaimed herself Empress. Terms were set and an honor duel between the newly minted Empress and Illythia pyr Docro ended with the former mireling the victor, and her resultant crowning as Queen of Asphodel. A good working relationship was established in the aftermath, with the elder swearing herself as an advisor, and retaining her title as Viscountess.
  

• A relaxed moment of peace and prosperity falls over the darkened skies of Asphodel in the following nights. An injection of economic affluence from the Docro Family has seen an increase in infrastructure for the once nearly skeletonized Kingdom, new roads, buildings and more constructed with every passing day, and a massive influx of people from neighboring villages, either out of fear or lust for power. The Docro Manse has also been moved to its new Kingdom.
  

• Almost immediately, aggressions to wayward travelers whom do not swear their fealty to their liege have increased. If you enter Asphodel, you pay the tithe. Resistance will result in a far greater fine being levied. Exceptions are made exclusively for those wishing to conduct diplomacy, and no others. The purchase and selling of blood has been outlawed wholesale.
  

• All vampiric bloodlines save for those that have promised their loyalty to the Queen, and Asphodel, have been issued a summons. They have a deadline of one year to heed the call, under threat of brutal hunting. Additionally, those who sire without permission will see both themselves and their spawn devoured, their blood reclaimed.
  

• The Apropryira Ravel, a tournament like no other, is also in the works. From within the vaults of the Ashpodelian castle, servants can be seen moving crates and chests containing foreign weapons that have been forged with exotic gems. Planned by Viscountess Marjorie, the approaching Blood Hunt will celebrate the wicked union of the vampire kind under one house.
  

• Following a vision shared among members of the crimson court, plans are made to venture into the Shadowlands in pursuit of ancient, vampiric magic.
  

• Lastly, all Viscounts save for Adrian Ivanovich and Marjorie, have had their titles stripped from them by the Queen for the time being, at the recommendation of Marjorie herself.

• Over the course of many years have Tribes people began to leave Moxtli[*] over the tyrant Sibyl Cirque's rule. Many have believed that she was unfit to lead the tribes, and had either abandoned the tribes or tried to live out until she had reached a foreseeable death and/or challenger.
  
  
• The Spirit's Receptacle, one that Sibyl had the Head Shaman Enna create to gather the essence of all living things was made. The Voice had begin to go on hunts with the Teraphim of Moxtli in order to obtain such prized material. Many had become victim to this and it did not stop from that point.
  
  
• Organized with the Docro family, specifically Remilla pyr Docro, was a raid onto Osrona to gather prisoners for an upcoming grand ritual. It was successful on all accounts except for their secondary goals.
  
  
• A public grand ritual was then scheduled and then to be had, in which anyone within Esshar could witness, not long after the raid attempt. The goal was to rematerialize Andromeda from the spirit realm from what the Voice would assume she had become a spirit from sources.
  
  
• The ritual day had come, and many came to bare witness, even Osronan forces came to disrupt the ritual, but ultimately failed. With the power of the Chiron, the Spirit's spectacle, Andromeda's diary, and a donut(?) did they call upon the spirits to open a portal to the spirit realm. It had all been a success until, Saekanis, The Divine Spirit of Destruction arrived and wreaked havoc upon Moxtli for the sin that Sibyl Cirque had created. Depriving the Divine Spirt to keep him away from their realm, and he had return to punish them. Many had fled, but those that remained had to face the wrath of an angered Divine Spirit. Thousands of lives were lost, homes were destroyed, the temple began to collapse. All what was left of Moxtli was rubble and debris.
  
  
• After Saekanis had brought his blight, one could say a miniature Pandemonium Chase, the fighters were left to die, and Saekanis took his leaving. On the other hand, there was another entity that appeared that named themselves The Instigator. Details of the arrival and discussion are hazy and undescribed due to the lack of people remaining.
  
  
• As of 1864, Moxtli is no longer a faction within Esshar. Everything had been lost of the settlement. The survivors are not asked to reconvene in any specific place, the land is gone, and the current location of Sibyl Cirque is left unknown. All survivors of the tribes are to roam where they please.
  

The influence of Gehennan culture has been subdued and no longer has a place of congregation in Esshar.

Despite the recent loss, and the gruesome fate that almost befell its Queen, Osrona has seen a renewed sense of energy and commitment in its streets over the past few years.

"With the destruction of Moxtli, and the disappearance of Sibyl Cirque, we have found ourselves a brief reprieve with which to recenter our focus on the other enemies of peace and prosperity on Esshar. Aided by the alchemical creation of Minister Andrial, it is my hope we can continue similar developments to drive back not only the Vampires, but the Docros as well. To finally end their constant posturing and threatening. With the first step of reformation complete, I feel more confident in the security of our future, led by the Petrakis family, advised by those from all walks of life.

I know full well the past few years have not been easy. But when I see the spirit of the people, when I can speak with you all, I see in each of you the same words that I've always believed in, when defeat has taken its toll.

Despite the overall losses within the raids, there were no significant losses within the military forces of Osrona.

☉ Arista rei Petrakis has given approval to Warden Wynne Meztin to establish a refugee camp or small village just outside the walls of Osrona, for the refugees of Moxtli's destruction. The two are seen conversing constantly about the best way for their two people to work together moving forward.

☉ Eisele ras Petrakis was successful in her initial expedition to determine the location of the Petrakis Crown. She intends soon to move to retrieve it in earnest.

☉ Minister Andrial has successfully completed her research and development on the blood bane potion. Its effects are said to be helpful to those intending to fight against vampires. Members of the Second Dawn are encouraged to approach the Queen should they desire a potion to use in preparation.

☉ The first wave of Reforms has finally left the castle, with more on their way.

☉ Silvia orn Pelleaux has been excommunicated and exiled from Osrona. She is to be captured on sight, or killed if necessary.

☉ The Aurora Chasm was finally completed, with rumblings that perhaps it may be further improved on in later generations.

☉ The Ministry positions and the advisory council have all had their roles filled at long last.

1865 AC - The Year of (Re)Growth

Nearly a decade of silence has befallen the desert settlement. As the wars on Esshar continue to rage, Aesirheim has seemingly been left in the literal and metaphorical dust, despite the attempts of Jarl Vigr Dyr. Commerce and trade were at an all time low while manpower and construction efforts were dwindling; would the hardy village fade quietly into the sands of time, however?

Of course not, especially with a new and particularly golden-haired woman taking the reigns.

"Heeeey~! We're baaaaack!

Not just Aesirheim, but us as well, the Ilian clan. As princess of my people, I've decided that our best course of action would be to move in with our friends down south; we got a few things in common, but mostly it's our hate for that ugly family to the east, ya know what I mean?

Anyway, I've been put in charge of a few things around here in Aesirheim. It's a beautiful village with beautiful people 'n I'd hate for it to become as dry as the desert it's in, so I'm gonna make a few much needed improvements. That way, we can both prosper, Ilian and Vanir alike.

♅ With the Ilian clan and Aesirheim's merging officialized, there are talks of the Rhoynish fort being moved into the desert village.

♅ Furiae Dayndros has been appointed as a sort of figurehead in Aesirheim, with logistical authority just under the Jarl.

♅ Furiae Dayndros herself has asked that all Rhoynish without a home and Moxtli refugees make their way to Aesirheim, declaring they will be welcomed with open arms.

♅ There are rumors of a system of nobility, military, and citizenship in the works by the Jarl Vigr Dyr.

♅ Whispers of some kind of tournament are often on the lips of Aesirheim's citizens.

♅ Jarl Vigr is requesting the aid of experienced artificers for a grand project soon to be announced.

♅ The Expedition to see Garjling is once again in the works, though contact with Warlord Acheron has halted for some time.

♅ An additional expedition is also in the works by Jarl Vigr, but the details of such are kept private.

Many things have happened in the foggy city of Pauper, changes made and clearly - new powers emerging amidst the ruins, which were now more populous than before, with an adequate number of citizens walking around the swamps..

 

The city continues to develop, my lands.. Expand. New inhabitants arrive, but more are welcome to join us.

 

Projects as always exist, we never stop for a moment - because there is always work to be done.

☠ The Void Bellator Project came to a conclusion, which was about the creation of knights who serve the Lich directly - carrying his will forward. Something notable, as recently attacks have been taking place - perhaps acts done by such creatures?
 
☠ Due to the efforts of one of the Knights, Famine - this one is officially named as the Grand General of the legions, being the Overlord's right hand.
 
☠ The necromancer is starting the Gateway Project and advises citizens as well as others - to approach him if they seek help by providing resources.
 
☠ The Lich's hordes move to the former Moxtli crater in order to begin construction of a tower on the land - to expand the Overlord's territory, as well as in the future create a quarry on the site.
 
☠ After a failed attempt of rescue by the Adventurer's Guild, their leader Sohan would find himself caged - awaiting his fate at the hands of the undeads.

The tower in the centre of Esshar has once more seen activity. In light of the recent announcement by Furiae Dayndros, many new Rhoynish faces can be seen around the fort alongside allies hailing from other parts of the country. The once solemn sight is now one of enterprise and action as people come to learn and train. A new figurehead for the clan seems to be spearheading this newfound motivation and action.

"Despite the title I'm perhaps not the greatest at addressing things publicly so this will either be brief or long-winded. Furiae Dayndros has stepped down as possible leader due to personal reasons. These reasons may or may not be related to a certain incident which also managed to halt the plans we had of merging with Aesirheim.

However, things are now back on track once more and we are still inviting all Rhoynish without a home and the refugees of Moxtli to make their way to Aesirheim or, failing that, meeting myself at Fort Erradir. Speaking more laxly I also invite all previous members of the Clan and those Rhoynish that currently serve darker masters within the Shadowmire to come and discuss things with me. We have not forgotten your crimes of betrayal but they may yet be forgiven.

The previously rumoured tournament will be going ahead and we also invite all those within Garjling's coat to join as well. I understand that with war on the horizon it is perhaps not the perfect time however I urge those that can to attend and bond with your fellow magi. Those of us without walls must band together in times like these."

Asphodel experiences a sudden surge of activity, and the world around her notices. As a consequence of the hostile takeover by Queen Marina Vranovo,
the fighters of Asphodel, now more than ever, seem to be extremely violent to outsiders who are not aligned with them. Traitors have been executed
and delimbed as a consequence of the Iron Queen's rule, and the fate of those who are captured is left unclear.

Marina Vranovo has very little to say in the way of words-- after all, she's been in the public light for some time, and any announcements from her are often declarations of destruction.

But, the message is abundantly clear.

"Join us or die."

With troops moving to occupy several key areas close to Starfall, and rumors spreading of the need for Asphodel to claim a key area, it seems that the next spot
on the map to be eradicated is Starfall Academy- a home to talented magi and scientists that will block off a key route of transportation for Osronan troops.

A great war is on the horizon, and it's clear that whoever wins will decide the fate of Esshar.

• Asphodel's military might has grown almost 10 fold, and they intend to use it.
  
• Shockwaves of the extermination of Shadowmire can be felt, as the monster population visibly begins to drop, with some becoming outright extinct.
  
• Marina Vranovo intends on announcing, specifically, the next move of the Asphodel empire in the coming days.
  
• Blair Vranovo is to be considered the second-in-command to Marina Vranovo.
  
• The ascension of a new vampire has resulted in the excitement of the ghouls in question. Soon, Esshar will be swarming with blood-suckers.
  
• Rogue ghouls and vampires have been discovered, and are invited to join Asphodel before they're caught and executed. Any sired before the new laws put in place will be given exemption if they join Asphodel.
  
• The systematic genocide of mutants has resulted in their population dropping to critical levels-- outside of Asphodel, it seems.
  
• Asphodel's claimed land seems to have expanded formally, and any who enter it will be subject to the laws of Asphodel despite not being inside the walls.
  
• There are rumors of a ritual that will use the strength borrowed from devouring Illythia Vranovo's body and elevate Marina Vranovo to a similar level of strength... but such rumors are obviously false, right?

⟐ Organization changes towards the ranking of the Coat, two new ranks have been added in the shape of Arbiter and Elder:
    - Arbiter: A pillar among the younger one that is directly chosen by the Lords or even the Den Father itself.  They should represent an aspect valued by the chosen leader.
    - Elder: A retired honored member of the Coat. Those are given an vote of honor in the labors of the Council and is enforced into anyone above the age of sixty.
      This rank is permanent and those with it should be respected for their year of services.
⟐ A recent organization is taking shape within the walls of the Coat accepted by the Den Father in the shape of the Ebonblooded..
⟐ The Herald of Naysean herself, Lianne, has been chosen as the first Arbiter by the will of Allium for her vision towards the future of change and her desires.
⟐ The trials for a new Lord to oversee the Coat are being planned yet no new of those have been given. As much has been mentioned about those interested in becoming Forge Masters of the Dragon Forge.
⟐ Monthly training sessions to enforce strength will be hosted by the Coat offering an extension to the allies to join them. Coaches will come to speak about different aspects of Combat.
