Dox's Dungeons (1/2)
#1
Key: StardustChampion
Event Preferences: Cults, Stealthy, Dungeons, Political. That kinda stuff.
Contact Information: (optional) Dox#8381
Anything Else: I prefer running small events of 1-3 people cause its less stressful. There will almost always be a chance to avoid combat in my events. It just requires more effort.

Key/Character: Theori/Markos cos Istoriko
Which Event: https://chronicles-of-esshar.com/forum/s...p?tid=1225

Responsiveness: Narrations were always quick following my posts and never failed to integrate my actions.
Balance: This was a non-combat event, so the balance aspect didn't really come into it.
Storytelling: Story was interesting and enjoyable, and provided a couple of plothooks I could follow into new events, so overall very happy!
Fairness: Event felt very fair. I took a temp, but it was reasonable for the situation and something I imagine I could of easily avoided if I made a different decision at the right moment.

Overall: Overall I had a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to following those plothooks in the future. Dox DM is best DM*
*In my personally held opinion.

Key/Character: Theori/Lira Eryni
Which Event: https://chronicles-of-esshar.com/forum/s...p?tid=1798

Responsiveness: Narrations were pretty quick, and always took our choices into account.
Balance: We didn't end up fighting, but it was definitely a possibility.
Storytelling: The format of cutting between the planning stage and the actual doing-things stage was a really unique way of doing it, and was quite entertaining!
Fairness: Event felt very fair. We got bonuses for smart choices, a negatives for less-smart choices. Missed out on bonus rewards, but that was because of our own actions, so still fair to me!
Overall: Overall I had a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to convincing Dox to DM for me in the future!

Key/Character: Ryu
Which Event: The Robbery

Responsiveness: Pretty quick, 10/10 overall on it
Balance: Balance was handled pretty well feeling us out before going forth with what was acceptable.
Storytelling: The story made me excited, I was glad to see that our small actions were being received well by the NPC's and included in each narrate. Everything you did was rewarded with proper well written replies.
Fairness: Pretty fun event, It's one I'll retell ICLY to get some more conflict brewing hopefully in my spare time.

Overall: This was just the first part, still more to go. Even though we lost a lot of people along the way ICLY it made it feel worth it, like a real story I was attached too. The IC around it makes so much sense and just gets me pumped thinking about what I can brew up next in game, and hopefully have opposing PC's join to stop me.

Any other comments: I'll be contacting you again for another event. The rolls were a great touch.

Key/Character: Oracle Linnaeus
Which Event: https://chronicles-of-esshar.com/forum/s...p?tid=2621

Responsiveness: On point! Like, Dox did really well using our RPs as material for his narration, and, it didn't slow down the pace.
Balance: Very balanced, I have to say, the boss fight with 3 against it, was hard, and I loved it!
Storytelling: Very keen for detail it was, when Dox was giving the town so much backstory, as well as giving everything just a touch up of greatness. All in all, all of this helped with Oracles dev, and it even helped the participants in the end  as well.
Fairness: Very fair, Dox knew just what to say to appeal to all 3 participants.

Overall: Amazing, would highly recommend Dox, though, I will say, Dox should plan some Narration ahead of time, just to speed things up a bit, though it wasn't all that bad.
9.9/10
