Forming the Prismatic Triumvirate

With Menagerie's recent growth, the mirthful village seeks to officialize a stable ruling body. Plans have gone forwards to set the village's leadership under a council of three. Currently, Elodie Gregoris serves as the Vox Populi and Hemera Valmonte as the High Scintillate, which leaves one more spot to form Menagerie's inaugural Prismatic Triumvirate.

Wanting the people to choose who represents them, Vox Elodie has posted an important announcement on the square's notice board.

Menagerie is a place for ambition to become reality. I look at our humble home and see many working hard to make it a masterpiece. That is why the council will truly take shape as the Prismatic Triumvirate, leaving an opportunity open for those who wish to become a face of change!

Throughout 2014 and into 2015, the village square will serve as an open forum for speeches. Any citizen of Menagerie is free to run for this spot. Voting will be ongoing during this time as well, which will be open to both the citizens of Menagerie and the leaders of Port Fortune and Last Frontier, respectively. Once the voting period ends, there will be an announcement and celebration for the winner!

The man speaking to you now? I am Ertyas al'Lothin. An aristocrat of Mengarerie. It has always been my focus to give peace to branch nations. After all, it is why I left my homeland to come to this grand nation."

"From my time in Aphros, I learned much about this nation. The good. The bad. The odd. - Yet I felt not quite at home there. So I took my travels and reached out to Dal'Thala. Learned of her people. Learned how they worked just in the same manner in which I saw Aphros. Studying. Learning. I adored it. ...But I too did not feel at home within those walls. So I felt lost. With a few friends, I learned of Menagerie. At first. I was confused. I didn't understand what happened here. It was peaceful. It was a lovely place I found myself coming back to time and time again."

"Greetings, everyone. I am here to speak to you today to submit myself as a candidate for the third member of the Prismatic Triumvirate."

"For those who don't know me, I am Rhue Gregoris, husband to the Vox Populi, Elodie Gregoris, and one of the founders of Menagerie. Some may also know me as an author, and the owner of the local bookstore; others, I hope, will know me as someone they can turn to when they need assistance or guidance - my experiences thus far indicative as such, and I intend to keep doing so."

"Vox Populi Elodie already offers the skills of an expert diplomat and wise leader, and High Scintillate Hemera understands matters of faith and the heart of the city. What I offer you as the third member of the triumvirate is my expertise as a steward and a financier. I've served two terms as a court steward before, once directly under Queen Elanil, and once more as part of the council serving King Amadiel."

"My duties as steward were vast, but mostly to do with what many may consider dull bureaucracy; negotiations for prisoners, processing applications, gauging the needs of individual citizens and aiding with my counsel. Boring tasks for many, perhaps, but as I'm sure many of you have experienced, these processes are the very things our lives sometimes depend on - what if you need to know where you can build, if you're allowed to build at all?"

"We're a growing city, and our individual needs reflect that; I can ease the wheels of this process with my expertise, and ensure everything runs smoothly not only so that the city flourishes, but also allowing you to have peace of mind. This brings me to my next point; the need for financing the growth of the city."

After an engaging election and many votes coming in to vote for the newest council member, the winner of the council position ended with a unanimous vote for Rhue Gregoris. Joining Vox Populi Elodie Gregoris and High Scintillate Hemera Valmonte, Rhue Gregoris has become the steward of Menagerie. With his previous experiences leading him into his new position, he has become the council member in charge of internal affairs.
