EMERGENCY REFERENDUM

FOR THE GOOD OF FAIR DELPHINA

LONG MAY WE REIGN

Put forth by Elanil Caewynn with the support of the other major houses, a vote is put to Delphina. This vote is to rush the reveal of the new house that the Monarch will be chosen from, so that Delphina can have secure, single minded leadership. An early gala may or may not be hosted- or it may simply be announced at a speech, in this time of crisis.

○ The vote requires a strong majority to succeed (exact number hidden).
○ 1 vote per Faeborne.
○ Faeborne only, as well as one vote for House Gregaris due to their status.
○ No sneaky hijinks... unless a Faeborne has been replaced by a faceless already.

The referendum has passed with a clear majority.

So declares House Caewynn, responsible for counting each decision from the hundreds of Faeborne, minor and major.

So shall the new Monarch be unveiled at this special TWILIGHT GALA.

Hosted by House Fonsaitte at WEDNESDAY 6PM EST.

Let us celebrate the legacy of Good King Alfellen and his wishes for the future of Delphina.

Quote:OOC:

If you want your character to be considered for the position of next Monarch (with the IC ultimately being that the chosen name was in the last Monarch's will all along) then apply with the following form to be reviewed by headmins. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQ...A/viewform

All faeborne are eligible, not just major house leaders. As long as you are not exiled.

Following the announcement of the break from tradition, Valerian Eldrassi held an open forum to speak about
the tea maidens and their purpose, as well as to answer any questions people had about them.
.
This, while not a facade, was used to gather Dal'Thalans for something more
important than a simple discussion and talk about the Nemean religion.
She spoke of the break from tradition and its purpose as guidelines,
and some would say she revealed a small distaste for the nobility.
Yet, these were not the true purpose of the gathering, either.
.
After it had begun, the young girl channeled divine power in a ritual meant to bless a crown to replace the one lost within the tragedy of 124.
Woven by her own hands, and blessed by the goddess of the Forests and the Hunt, she departed soon after the ritual had been completed,
shakily and with the crown in between her hands. She declared simply that the crown would be a gift to the next monarch; a blessing from
Her Lady of the Forests for a long-lasting and prosperous reign, and one for all those who bear the crown and title as Monarch afterwards.

Quote:An Additional OOC Note:

If you live in Dal'Thala/Delphinia and have an opinion on who your character thinks would make a good monarch, please fill out this form. Remember that only faeborne are eligible to become the monarch, but any faeborne can become it- they do not need to be part of a noble court. As a second reminder, that does still apply to the prior form, which currently still remains open.
