A Patron's Claim

The witches of Nanzonia would be called to a meeting, sanctioned by the Tyrant... but lead by the master warlock of an unfamiliar coven. A sabbath is held, a ritual from his own book of shadows. A ritual of communion, Cami would seek out that soul that bound itself to her for protection. 

Communion with Hel itself. The warlock produces an orb, one which manifests and projects a patron along with their own aura of authority for the recipients of the message to bear witness to. A booming voice announces its presence to Helheim that day. It declares its authority.

"It seems Helheim's bureaucracy may work slower than anticipated. Nothing we can not work to fix."

"It is true. The book of shadows that was once the Elysium coven's has relinquished its authority to me, as I am sure you have all been made aware."

"All those names, all those souls... they are Helheim's, yes. They are also mine. You would not rob Epimet of their souls, would you?"

"You'll find the paperwork is all in order. I am a patron of equal caliber."

"The most recent of my souls to join Hel, it's mine. For use in my own projects, which will acquire all the more souls in time."

"Not even a shred of essence is to be singed off it before I claim it."

"The devils amongst you who practice law magic will recognize the truth to my claim."

"To all who dispute it? Provide a gateway. We'll hold an infernal trial."

"I warn you though. I have quite the capable legal team."
