Amenadiel Part One: A Temple Long Forgotten

"You know how I told you about the temple surrounded by demons?" They'd question, "It is near my home village, Sariel. Where I was born and raised. I was not born at the Waystone, I was born a bit further from it. Much, much further. My mother is still there in that village."

"That temple, it was merely rumors, so I kept digging." They'd say, "And I learned that the temple was the one near my village. It is the Temple of Amenadiel."

"A forgotten one, one no longer cared for, mostly rubble. But what I've heard is that demons are focused on it for some reason." They'd say, "There's something in there that they're focused on, and apparently..."

"It might be the same thing I want too. A lost tome of sorts."

"Amenadiel is an angel, who fought within the divine war. He was noted to be a warrior of sorts, a-and..." They'd clear their throat, "Fought in the first Divine War against Azrael who wished to usurp Kraus."

"It was a temple made to pay tribute to Amenadiel, after his work in the Second Divine War." They'd say, "It was all in the records, records that I perused. Mostly faded text, and I worked hard on restoring them."

"There's a missing gap, however. I do not know what happened to Amenadiel. Perhaps he-- Perhaps he perished in this war, during the desolation of Astya and upon Malztiel's … Well you know that part, I'm sure."

"But I wish to find out."
