Deserters in the past have worked against the Empire's best interests, attempting to rebuild poorly located colonies and create cultural off-branches of our famed mono-cultured country. This...- project, is not the same. Elysia's vacancy has prompted new interest, especially after the seizure of it by the Docro Family, then after gifted to us, the Empire.

Under the dutiful and brave leadership of one Kateryna pyr Docro, the nobility of her family has been clarified and the official support of Barsburg now lays behind her actions. As such a special operation squadron of three highly-trained soldiers and one synthetic has been allocated to the colony, Kateryna pyr Docro named General of these forces, as well as Governor to the city, and her brother, Mikhail pyr Docro, named Commander.

These forces will arrive in 1895 to assist in the defense of New Tannen, as per the newly penned 'Old King's Law', which from this moment forward will provide support for any intact cities, countries, or counties claimed in name to Barsburg.

Hello! If you've read this far you're probably excited to know what this entails! As well as putting an official end to the Docro's question to nobility, the Family's recent trip to Barsburg was for more than just digging through Alexei's messes! Turns out when presented with a city nearly on their border and within port distance, Barsburg is a bit more interested in the region than previously thought.

This Emporium post is for four RPL 180 characters. Three soldiers of Barsburg and one synthetic.

These characters will start at 16 or older, as per the Barsburgian age of enlistment. They will be loyal to Barsburg and their military first and foremost, as per the Machine Doctrine and the IC of the nation. This can range anywhere from fanatical to being a little too good at fulfilling mandatory service, but ultimately they should be dedicated to their faction, including the Docro Family.

Once approved they may spawn immediately, as tomorrow will be the year change and I doubt any will be selected in a single day. That being said this is a pretty quick-fire app selection, so if you're interested fulfill the app at your nearest convenience for the best shot at getting the slot! We request you read the Barsburg wiki page (https://chronicles-of-esshar.com/lore/in...p/Barsburg) at the very least, if not be already deeply informed and well aware of Barsburg lore. While we are accepting all sorts of players into New Tannen and potentially its military, these are app roles intended to be experienced players to provide authenticity and direction for a Barsburgian themed faction to rekindle.

Characters will be provided mentorship from Kateryna pyr Docro, as well as basic equipment forged by her and unique item artificing work from her in the future. One will likely be named Captain and the other Sergeants, effectively meaning non-app players coming into New Tannen will be under you. So some level of understanding of rank responsibility is requested.

Please do not AFK or alt on these characters.
