"Under divine gaze, we grow.
Under the guidance of Enarr, our wisdom spreads.
Our culture builds and expands beyond our borders.
By the Twilight God's decree-
We are eternal."

  • Aphros seems to be expanding as of late. The city grows in all directions, but the northern one seems to be encapsulated by the Cathedral District, which affords little expansion outward. Plans speak of expansion westward and eastward.
  • The Decree of Acceptance is put in execution. This means that all refugees of former Delphina, be they faeborne or not, are accepted within the walls of Aphros, provided they pass a preliminary interview done by one of the anointed, a Knight Captain, or the Oracle himself.
  • With that, it is also decreed that there is no faith to be accepted within the walls of Aphros except for those of Athelios or Enarr. While other faithful are accepted as citizens, they are not to practice their faith openly, and any who do so will be detained and disciplined according to law of Heresy.
  • The Cathedral of Aspera is founded, and it seems to be expanding daily. Through donations and volunteering, every other day, a new brick is added to its exterior. It seems to be wanting to grow, likely to become a major landmark of the Sacred State.
  • Expeditions and works are under planning, and should any artificers or alchemists desire to pick up one of the many projects brought to the Oracle, they are to present themselves.
  • The Isle of Icaria is built as an outer colony of Aphros within one of the neighboring islands. While separate from the Capital itself, the Isle is a subject to its law and presents no independence of its own besides governance within its borders.

When a snowball is cast to roll down a hill, that which it gathers is steady and slow at first, yet soon do its accumulations mount exponentially until it grows at a most rapid pace.

Oakvale is akin to one of these cast balls of snow, its emergence steady at first; a home at its peak, left to its own for some years before a second was erected nearby. Soon thereafter, of course, the time between one fresh abode and the next was reduced, and reduced, and reduced, until at last those settling into the area were numerous enough—and sporting enough assets—that it came time to unify these disparate manses with the sticky web of civilization: streets, stalls, and structure.

Now it resides as a picturesque village sandwiched between a clear watered lake to the north and the great blue ocean to the south; exclusive with its permanent residency, but amicably open to tourism and commerce from visitors. Located near enough to everyone's favorite Grodolom and superjacked rabbit, it is the perfect spot for one to stop at just after filling their pockets with coin while bright eyed and eager to consume; lush with scenic splendor by its balancing of the agricultural and affluent, it similarly satiates simple sightseers.

Yet the kernel of the town's purpose remains true: independence. The few who reside as permanent fixtures in the quaint village remain left to their own devices, unified by a desire for mutual benefit, yet not entirely shackled to the pursuits or whims of any other.

¥ Thanks to the benevolent funding of Cassidy Cain, the paving of streets and establishment of interconnecting infrastructure renders Oakvale as a proper settlement.

¥ Yet, oligarchic in nature, there is no sole designated leader nor any intention to assign one; the village is the equal purview of its landowners, who may publicize themselves at their leisure.

Kamilla J. Lyndon, architect and designer of Oakvale, has founded the Order of the Pariah within its domain to counter the purportedly blasphemous and intolerable usage of necromancy under Caius' name.

¥ A defensive and trade pact has been agreed upon between Oakvale and Port Fortune, each coming to the call of the other should their lands be assailed by foreign entities.

A great amount of time has passed since the founding of Final Frontier, which went from a simple village at a Oasis in the desert.. To a slightly larger village, with animunculis roaming around working at many things and even combat golems that are now seen around Meranthe.

However, a lot will still happen and innovation shall arrive.

Acantho is the current Mayor of the city and should be addressed for any concerns, such as new structures, joining the Institute and other things.
The Notitia Archive is concluded, a place that will archive all the knowledge acquired by the Proto Institute - that will be available to scholars, while being kept away from the dangers of war.
Prototype 1-A was concluded, the first Combat Animunculi created by the Director. A new milestone for all magitech enthusiasts around Meranthe.
Rumours about a Entente began to spread, a deal between Final Frontier and Port Fortune.
A new project is being worked upon, one that shall bring a new series of animunculi, the models 2-A.
Funds are invested to improve the village's infrastructure, as well as the lives of its citizens. ( 100k investment, to reach 1 full heart )

A flower has bloomed in the war-torn soils of Meranthe. East of the plains, a new village has sprung up upon the shores of a glistening lake. Founded by Elodie Gregoris and her fiance Rhue Brante is the growing settlement, Menagerie. Along with all former House Gregoris members who fled Dal'thala after the coup, refugees, in general, will be accepted into Menagerie with open arms. Whether Delpinian, Sirenian, or something else entirely, Menagerie offers itself to be a haven.

Since Menagerie was founded under Mestran ideologies, the people are encouraged to master and perfect their chosen arts, be it traditional like the brush or blade or a less orthodox art. Affiliation with Mestra or not, any citizen who shows exceptional skills and dedication towards Menagerie and her people may find themselves ascended to the status of an aristocrat. A position similar to nobility, but one formed through continued merit instead of birthright.

Menagerie is led by a Vox Populi, an elected official that will serve as the face of Menagerie, but there are plans for a full council to be made known as the Concilium Populi to cover the primary needs of the village.

  • Elodie Gregoris currently serves as the inaugural Vox Populi
  • House Gregoris has split into two sects, those who have left Dal'thala with Elodie and those who have stayed with Vespera
  • Some rumors of Port Fortune and Last Frontier's Entente have included Menagerie as a part of it.
  • Given Menagerie's neutral and cosmopolitan nature, violent disputes will be settled outside the village.
  • While Dal'thalans may enter Menagerie, it is highly recommended that greathive do not linger to avoid conflict.
  • Despite the official faith being Mestram, citizens are free to practice their religion of choice, barring witchcraft and necromancy.

"Loss is something that we cannot forget. Fathers, burying their children, Sisters being separated. Alone and weakened, we lost the dreamer that idealized this project much before I were to step in... Her death brought us all to mourn, and I reached the conclusion that we cannot stand alone anymore. I have never wanted this... Although we cannot allow ourselves to risk the home we have assured for ourselves. Alone, we couldn't have managed it. This was never my goal, but my Sister's objectives were set much earlier than what we could handle. My eye is set upon the future, decades, if not a hundred years forward... I've done what I think it's best for the Drakanites and the refugees within our lands." - Cirilla Folhammar

Quote:
Two years of Prosperity and meteoric growh have been brought upon the recently founded Settlement of Ryai'sumar under the rule of Vycera and the Council. Initial years were marked by a conflict of land with the Refugees of the dissolved Realm of Delphina in Suli'mara. Negotiations took long, and the ties between the two places were formed, and such bond, only strengthened throught money, resources and a promise they would not be forced to fight again... Although such dream has been threatened by recent Perdition activity, which had taken the life of one of the three first people to idealize the dream of Ryai'sumar.

Tension began to grow within the Council of Ryai'sumar in these last two years, and the Folhammar Clan, which was the birthplace of the first founders of Ryujin's Summit brought them into a situation where it was discussed if the Vassal state could even defend themselves. It all escalated after the first Expedition into the Sillent Expanse in which Cirilla was declared Dragonlord by the previous holder of the Title. Months of tension brought up a schism among the Folhammar members of the Council, where Vycera wanted the city to become an independant Nation, sister and allied to Vdalion, and Cirilla, following the Forgeseer's advice, wanted to be integrated into Vdalion so that one of them became a part of the Moot Council.

The Result was a catastrophe of such, and Vycera was exiled and expelled from her position as Ryai'sumar's Governor. In the following months, Ryai'sumar, assimilating Suli'mara completelly, shall be integrated as a Settlement of Vdalion, and the Governor shall recieve a place to speak in the Moot, should everything go well. Ryai'sumar's decisions will be first voted by an internal council, to then be brought to the public moot of Vdalion in exchange for participation of their empire and protection as a part of them from now on.

  • Vycera, the former Leader of Ryai'sumar has stepped down from the Council and seat of the leader following the recent events to be further detailed and approved by Vdalion's Council... Until being officially appointed as Governor and part of the Moot, if that is ever to happen, Cirilla Folhammar shall take her place as tempoary leader, waiting to be named Governor.
  • Suli'mara, the settlement of Faeborne and refugees of Delphina will be completelly integrated into the City's structure, becomming a large district of Ryai'sumar instead. They have reserved a Seat upon Ryai'sumar's council, preferably to be upheld by a successor of the previous councilmen.
  • The Construction of a Fort Within the realm will be held soon, the funds are being gathered and the third district Skyspire has been built with the intent to hold it and more housing for the residents that are still to come.
  • Last but not least, Ryai'sumar has been promised a seat upon the Moot, in trade of becomming a part of the Realm of Vdalion completelly, no longer being just a vassal state. Their decisions will have to be brought up to the Moot, but now they will have protection of the Huskarls and vote on the land's affairs, having a voice granted.

Vdalion's warhorns and blackened banners remained upon their mountain for the last four years, in a time of fragile, faux peace that was shattered when tragic deaths piled up at the hands of fel magi and their machinations. Yet upon the dawn of the final year before the next election blackened banners are hoisted high upon the cliffs, their shadows an omen of the strife to come. Great legions once more emerge from the north as preparation for war ensues. In the midst of this uneasy time, a Moot adjourns and with it's conclusion the next chapter of the frozen north's unyielding efforts to restore their former glory begins, starting with Ryai'sumar.

Town criers relay the events that took place betwixt the Standing Stones and word spreads through caravans and relocating bands of Huskarl as weeks pass.

'After stating her desire to forge the nation into an equal to the land of Giants, Vycera was challenged to a duel of honor! She chose exile instead of combat! Ryai'sumar joins Bjornheim as a true settlement of Vdalion! Cirilla Folhammar accepts the terms her predecessor refused, rising as Voice of the Sands! May she serve upon the council wisely for the people of the Expanse!'

In wake of this change, a new demographic finds itself present within Vdalion's people in the many calling the melting pot of a settlement their home.
With his development, the far edges of Meranthe have united once more under a single nation, with abundant trade being established on both eastern and western coasts.

With the unreconcilable deaths and destruction caused by Perdition, the blackened banners of the Huskarl stand tall and warriors of every clan of Vdalion prepare to descend the mountain once more. Until Perdition and it's denizens are returned to the cycle they struggle to escape, the north will not rest.

In lighter news: To ensure efficiency in Borya's temporary leave, the young fairy Eluin has been appointed to fill his seat.

Suli'mira | Fort Horizon
2007 - 2009

Storm and Migration
A storm has encapsulated the Faeborn masses. For a time they sang and danced within the gardens of Suli'mira as Pythia called herself Queen. Countless refugees looked to their Disgraced King who hid his crown, and yet never did the Son of Winter give their thoughts confirmation. He always spoke of that day when the Spring would Blossom and so they sang many poems of their past and future. The cold winter loomed overhead soon after as the Undead began to march towards Suli'mira. The Spring Heir had left to gather a remnant and in return, darkness came.

Suli'mira's defenders, the land of Ryai'sumar, found grave loss in the night. Shadows strike down a beautiful future and twist the sight of the joint lands. Without warning, whispers are scattered amongst the Faeborn people as their leader is nowhere to be seen for months on end. Sailing away by ship and they are left only with the company of the Drakanite people.
Winter was long and harsh. Never had the spring come to full bloom and yet the Disgraced King returned with a crown to be seen upon his head. No more did it burn bright like a star in the ever-looming darkness. It was cold as ice and reflected a harshness. New songs were sung with his return and the words he then shared.

Ships came by the day over the years and while there were no ports, decisions were made. No longer were the Faeborn people united but scattered in all ways. A new Dal'thala where their kin already awaited them. An Enchanted Forestry was starting its growth and for the Faeborn a new horizon.

A tragedy would finally come to befall them once again. They would have their songs of joy for the coming spring replaced with the eternity of winter. Bitterness came to take the Faeborn refugee populace as they had lost so much over the years. Even their Drakanite defenders had become little more than the tools of another nation. The Spring Heir would never return and their home was taken by their very defenders. The people cry out to retake what was theirs and to bring back the pride of Delphina. Still, there is no final statement from the disgraced ruler.

Quote:
  • The Great Faeborn Migration | After a lengthy conversation with Fort Horizon the Faeborn are called to this land to call it their home. A place where they may still find art, exploration,  and return to a new forest.
  • A wonder begins its growth in Fort Horizon. Talented mages of botany or those with a keen interest in supporting its creation are given an offer to join during a speech given by Amadiel.
  • Suli'mira merges with Ryai'sumar becoming the Faeborn District. A number of refugees stay behind trusting in the alliance. Preparing the structures to create a bountiful and luminous district of artwork.
  • Suli'mira begins expanding inwardly, aiming to create an underground city!
  • Kafka Ambroz is recognized as the Mayor of Suli'mira.
  • Xell and Sieni Ky'Lipsy maintain the great influx of Faeborn onto the shores of Fort Horizon. Expeditions into the fort are prepared to explore it fully.
  • The Explorer's Guild spreads their wings once again! Mages of low and high regard are invited to take part by reaching out to Xell.
  • Suli'mira is recognized as the intermediary to the Faeborn and their new home to be established on Fort Horizon.
  • The Threnody for the Spring Heir alongside Oliver Taddaway will be held at Fort Horizon. All who loved them are welcomed to the event. Later information is to be disclosed.

Aphros shall forever stand tall and pave the way for a better tomorrow."

  • Oracle Hadrian Dominic has transferred over the position of Oracle to Lloyd Astrid. With this, Hadrian Dominic and Solomon Equisol now occupy the role of Heralds, serving as advisors for the Sacred State of Aphros.
  • The attack on Perdition by the Church of Aspera is successful, causing for the necromancers to scatter without a new home to unite in. The State mourns for the loss of Oliver Taldaway, taken by the undead, but proudly presents the deaths of Renata, Villaus Tal and Blighter as direct consequences of the fight.
  • After a long and daunting battle, the assault on the Cathedral District by the forces of Dal'Thala was repelled back by the combined strength of the Bastion and the Church, though there are hushed rumors speaking of this being the beginning of something bigger.
  • Things haven't looked brighter and happier for Aphros, as there are talks of an expansion happening soon to breathe more life into the bustling city as well as plans to form trade relations with some settlements.

  • Another shift in leadership befalls the once-Capital of Delphina. Queen Ormici has stepped down as Monarch, appointing Vessix as leader of both Dal'Thala and the Hive in her stead.
  • Upon his first decree, Vessix has split the rule of Dal'Thala into a Diarchy, a balance between democracy, representation and action.
  • The Twin Kings of Dal'Thala are named to be Vessix and Lionel Avarion
  • Other decrees follow pertaining to raising new Nobility among the city though these plans are yet to be finalised.
  • Those who have fled the city in the past are invited back under cordial conditions if they wish to negotiate a return or at least a pardon.
  • Standings with the other nations are likely to be re-established should the foreign parties be willing to parley.

Quote:"Delphina has always been one to stick to tradition. Something which led to the split of the nation, the succession of its capital and the sharding of its people. One leader with total power has always ended up in ruin however this is no place to try and squeeze democracy in. That sort of thing only leads to circular arguments and allowing the weak to strongarm 'peace' against those that seek only your death. So we're meeting in the middle. Dal'Thala has always been a place where multiple walks of life co-exist, we hope this will give them all a voice to speak with and an impartial ear to listen."
