He heard me call for him.. and he came..
Their hands painted with a new shade of red, and the lingering remnants of the screams upon their ears, they could only ever wonder why so few heeded his call. His hands had closed upon them, an embrace as loving as they had ever felt, the pain that had spread throughout only a sign of his acceptance of them.
"The pain of your victim.. must be your own."
They didn't argue, didn't question, why would they..? No. They embraced it, even as they screamed themselves. This was his test, and it wasn't one they would fail.
