As Tipo trained, his powers developed more and more, he randomly formed a Silver Javelin in combat. As a response, he asked around what this power was. After Bang (Pinko) gave directions to meet up with the metal magic master known as Rufus. When Tipo asked for a smell that could be attributed to Rufus. Bang described it as the smell of searching for the scent of victory. After following Bang's directions, Tipo ends up finding Rufus. After some effort and convincing Rufus gives some advice. He attributes the power of metal, to the power of someone's will. This was the start of something new. A physical and strategical evolution for the blind swordsman.
(Bizzare Adventure)
After Tipo had his training session, he ventured out to get a gift for his crush. Needless to say, he walked into enemy territory. He was captured and put into jail. However, to his surprise, he was given a warm meal and was treated with respect. Afterward, he was handed back to his friends for a price. The 5000 coins were paid and he was returned back to the village.

When he made it home, he had no gift for his crush. He still confessed and was declined in the most respectful manner. However, this person shared many traits with him and he deeply cared for them considering it was his first crush. He took this to heart and headed off, Pulling his cloak hood over his head. He declined to talk to anyone about what happened, only wanting to think about everything alone.
