The late imprisonment of Asura Nomont after his public speech has led to no one managing the billing and payroll of Nomont Industries and its subsidiaries. As months crawl onward, bills pile on. Those in allocated positions see the writing on the wall and in a hopeless attempt begin firing large numbers to keep the companies afloat.  Unemployment across non-magi originally placed in accounting jobs, small-time construction projects, and even positions throughout the Nomont Fabrication Company begin to soar.  Tens of Thousands worth in coin and Nomont Dollars stand to be lost, threatening to return many nonmagus families to poverty, with more concerning magus investments soon to outright vanish.
