I don't think people should be shot down for not having their own little section of character. Some people are less confident about writing those posts.

keep in mind you can be very low effort or simply update the journal when you mark your interest for a specific ability, then ask for a character review/log check. our focus would be on the events you list & your recent roleplaying, then we award IP
if you want to attach logs/format it like a standard app, you can. that's up to you

for more specific abilities that have lore implications (such as witchcraft) we'd expect to see heavy development in that direction. for Big Fire we don't really care
