Anecdotally but when fighting creeps I've never seen Red Shardform spawn a crystal on shardshot. maybe it's RPB only?

That said, Red Shardform / Blue Shardform aren't much of an upgrade to Crystal Aura, but this doesn't mean they're insane.

It means that base Crystal Aura is 10 VIT 30 POW 25% DR when stunned

the aura doesn't change the color of normal shard shot, so... no... it spawns crystals (it's just a chance of it like normal shard shot lol)

What's the chance percentage of it spawning a crystal? One has never spawned for me and I cast around 3-4 a fight.

i can't look at the code so i have no idea, but i know it exists (unless it was changed very very recently which i doubt)

I'm telling you now since I've used this aura it never spawned a crystal from the passive. I've had it for a while, so I would have noticed if it spawned a crystal or not and I don't have formation of crystals.

i tested it with asta. it works. it even spawns the chance on dashes.

Maybe the code for Sapphire shard isn't working then

You're saying when asta proc a red shard-shot that it spawned a ap/heal/ or cleanse crystal?
