I don't know if anyone has ever made this suggestion, if not? I'll be the first.
Wouldn't it be cool if:
When someone pays Rent for their house/tavern/inn etc, the money goes into the guild bank that owns the place. Then, that guild can give their soldiers a wage for serving in the military. This adds an economy to the game. Money, instead of disappearing into the void when someone pays rent, it will be circulated.
It can also be cool RP device if faction leader x suddenly steals all the money in the town causing the town to go into a recession. Idk. It makes sense to me. Yes, I know understand that with tree cutting and stuff over time there will be more and more money but... That's how the world works irl as well. When characters die and forget to drop money, it will still vanish. Yes, prices will go up over time but still..
I think it'll add some realism to the economy of spires.
Thank you.
