People like to joke about 'hold z to win' builds but let's face it, you're really not gonna just be sittin there holding Z. Properly timing blocks does take a decent amount of mechanical skill, and having a stance that rewards that is great.
Just need to eliminate stacking it with shields, auras, etc.
You tell me this and i go “Yeah proper timed blocks makes sense!”
But then I remember bog’s unarmed bone energy build fighting a nature illusion holy build and she just sat under her trees, peppered with homings, and held Z while her summons beat him.
I’ve never been so triggered in my life since witnessing that.
Edit:
This was before block nerfs and when holy aoe gave +dr % as well.
