Event: The Un-Vale-Ing (im posting late)
My second private event, and it was a tonne of fun. Every step of the way felt like being caught up in the Weaver's schemes, where our characters were presented with traps which preyed on our characters' better natures - as befits Savarra. We fell face-first into each of them, because we are very nice.
An immersive map to move through, quick responses with seemingly every situation prepared for, and lots of room for our characters to demonstrate who they are.
IRL interruption for a party member meant it needed to be spread across 2 days - though, given our party spread was a mix of American/Euro/Australian timezones, it might've been good to make it 2 days from the outset. A poor dryad would have been awake till 8AM+ if we'd done it all in one day, I think.
It was very funny to be the sole Aerodyne of the party, going through a corrupted segment of the Vale. We did not consider beforehand if that might, innately, pose a bit of danger. A cute ragdolling experience, that he somehow walked out in one (slightly different) piece, which created some lasting leads for my character to follow.
