Snacking in the Desert
Standouts: Swift narrates; always prepared; setting descriptions which make complicated locations easy to understand; great writing, items and otherwise.
That was an event and a half. Long, but only because we 'uhmd' and 'ahhd' at the start (and I wrote slowly), apologies to the DM
.
What Rob does best is he enables authors to show off their entire character and it makes the event a milestone in the character's life rather than filler. As a result it left me with a newfound appreciation of all the other characters: I would gladly die to Kalione, Nadir and Snacks if the situation comes up again.
DMing is a skill and Rob's great at it. The segment he wrote into the event for my character was very rewarding and fit seamlessly within. The DM really felt like our fifth party member in this experience rather than some omniscient narrator.
Makes me wish I could witness the Elfame event...
