Character: Sunsets over Moonlight
Which Event: A Fae's Final Flight to Elfame
This is my second Rob event following a less high stakes journey for an apple. My impressions thus far led me to assume attention to detail, considered story and dedication from beginning to end. I believe the event lasted ten or twelve hours without a single boss fight or special 'unique' tagged item dropped as reward.
Responsiveness: Timely. He had myself, Bologna and Dandeli there. Godspeed.
Balance: There weren't hostile encounters safe for an unexpected trinket from unlikely individuals. I have a strong preference towards this now as a result of my two Rob events.
Storytelling: Not a single one of us had a clue what Elfame was. In ways, that's cool for a DM and other times, pretty dreadful to come up with lore that might possibly satisfy a two year old and over one year old character. It has been shrouded in mystery for a very long time and its reveal was extremely satisfying, sweet and tragic. As a player who's dedicated well over a year to Nemea, I felt good about it and relieved by the care placed into the story crafted. I had no doubt once we switched from Chance (he surely would've killed us all x) to Rob even if my only personal experience was a more lighthearted event. I am thankful he took such care in its approach, execution and aftermath. This will, of course, follow my character very closely until their conclusion.
Fairness: Elfame discovered.
